I haven't updated this blog in sometime, so I wanted to give a report on where I am with the ET issue and current events.

If you were following this blog before, you will note that at the beginning of Obama's term I posted some very positive comments regarding the election of the new President. Like the majority of the rest of the country I got caught up in 'Hope and Change' and hoped that he would deliver as promised-a more transparent government and complete withdrawal of troops from the Middle East. There were some rumblings during his campaign about his voting record in his previous position not running parallel to his campaign promises. Perhaps out of blind optimism I jumped on the bandwagon.

And I was particularly hopeful about the possibility of his disclosing the truth about ETs. Most of the ET researchers have been taking a 'wait and see' approach to the issue.

He might still do this. ET disclosure is the one thing that might save the Presidency of Obama. I wonder if he still might play that card, but I rather doubt it at this point. Since he bows to big business, and since big business has the most to lose in a paradigm change as dramatic as ET disclosure, I would say that chances are pretty slim.

Currently, the nation is getting swept away by Ron Paul. Running on the platform of smaller government, no more federal reserve and no more wars, Paul's message is consistent with his voting record of a lifetime of public service. And polls show that Paul may be the one to beat Obama.

Even as the Republican party and the media has been slow to embrace Paul, polls are also showing that the Democratic process is very much alive, and Thursday night's Fox debates showed Paul on fire and far superior to his opponents.

In regards to ET disclosure, history would show, and I think it would be safe to conjecture, that Paul has probably not been made privy to this information. As an anti-establishment candidate, he has probably not been let in the inner circle of those in the know. If we compare Paul with Kennedy, who was another anti-Federal Reservist, Kennedy also tried to get to the truth about ETs and was denied. Carter was denied by his CIA Director George HW Bush.

Paul has made little mention of ETs, other than to say he would look into the matter. But I still see the election of Paul as a positive step in this direction. As those of us familiar with the history of disclosure advocacy have seen over and over, a power hungry structure stands securely in the way of ET disclosure. This power structure needs to be broken up. It seems that no amount of advocacy work is making any large strides in this direction, though there may be much more going on behind the scenes. The recent response from the office of the President is the first time that any answer has come from this office regarding this issue. But the standard answer that there is 'no evidence though we continue to look' was rather disappointing considering the mountain of evidence that has been coming out in the last 10 years and all the countries that have disclosed their ET files.

Ron Paul finally presents us now with an opportunity for the walls of this power structure to be severely weakened. An attainment of small government would considerably weaken the current 'masters of the universe'. I believe also that key members of the Federal Reserve are in on the ET issue. Researcher Stephen Greer has stated that former Fed Chairman Allan Greenspan has been a key member of the modern day Majestic 12 program, the underground program believed to be overseeing the ET issue. Withdrawing our military from around the world and stopping the warmongering that the US continues to engage in would also be a positive step in weakening the Military Industrial Complex that Eisenhower so accurately warned us against.

And this is where most of my focus is currently directed these days. Facebook has been my primary outlet, posting articles that promote Paul's campaign. I occasionally find and post updates for Greer's program and other articles of interest, and I continue to participate in the Disclosure Movement where ever I can. But our best hope to get us closer to the truth lies with Ron Paul, whether he accomplishes this or not, and I hope you will join me in supporting his campaign.

Important Update from Dr. Stephen Greer and the Disclosure Project.

Informal Abstract:

* 3 million dollars has not been raised, Greer cannot build laboratory to develop free energy devices, only offer grants to independent researchers.

* Greer's team has been working with scientists who have been intimidated from working with Greer's people, leading Greer and his team to believe that it's going to be difficult to move forward unless they can get their own lab.

* The FBI has a file on this and they are spreading disinfo that Greer is developing technology for terrorists that can allow them to blow up things with their minds(!).

* Greer and his team are starting to receive escalated death threats and harrassment. In case anything happens to him or any of his team, there is information ready to be sent out to the President, Hollywood, big media, etc.

* Continued call for leads that Greer and his team can work with to achieve the free energy devices possible that would free us from fuel/electric bills.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - THE ORION PROJECT

For the past two years, The Orion Project has worked to raise funds to build a facility where we can bring scientists and inventors together in a peaceful type of Manhattan Project for energy - to develop new sources of energy that will get us off the fossil fuel economy. We have also worked to identify scientists and inventors capable of this work. For the past hundred years, scientists such as Nicola Tesla have worked on such devices. The fact that many have tried, and we are still using predominantly fossil fuels - the same fuels used in the 1800s - can be illustrated by our recent experience.

We reported last December that we had under contract a very talented scientist who wanted to work with us. Because he still is doing work for a private company that is linked to the Intelligence Community, he preferred working with his identity concealed. A side note is that he had agreed to work with us in the fall of 2008. At that time, he met with the Board of Directors and took a contract home to read and sign, but called us within three days saying that he was being deployed abroad for fifteen months. We heard nothing else from him until a year later - precisely after Dr. Greer publicly disclosed the energy briefing he had put together for President Obama.

He resurfaced and said that he wanted to work with us to develop new energy technologies. He met with the Board of Directors again. He assured us that he was cleared by his "shepherds" in the Intelligence Community to work with us to build advanced energy systems, but he was not allowed to work on advanced propulsion systems - that is, he could build systems to power our houses and businesses, but he would not be allowed to reproduce the advanced propulsion systems he has developed in the past.

We spent a long weekend with him and agreed upon a system he described that would be akin to a Tesla-type high-voltage system that would extract energy out of the Earth's energy field. It could run twenty-four hours a day, independent of solar energy or wind, and be more cost-effective, as well as non-polluting. This scientist also described three more technologies he could and would develop for us. He and his wife agreed that they wanted to work with us and would move to Virginia when we could fund a facility. They presented a timeline for completion of the first device, with work on the other devices to follow after that. Given his credentials and independent high-level confirmation from scientists who had reproduced his work, we were excited to move forward with this particular scientist.

Things went well and were very positive for the first couple of months. He contacted Dr. Bravo several times a week to say he was working on the project and was quite excited about it, although he apologized that the work was going more slowly than he had hoped.

In mid-March, there was a sudden change. He called Dr. Bravo to say that he was receiving threats from "foreign nationals" that had to do with his other job obligations. He said that phone calls with the Orion Project Board had been recorded and "played back" to him. He said there was no problem with us (The Orion Project) - in fact, several times over the past couple of months, he reiterated that his handlers in the Intelligence Community had checked us out and okayed our working together. He confirmed to Dr. Bravo that he planned to finish the device he was working on and come to work with us in the future. But then, over a course of six days, he changed his stance from "Yes, I'm anxious and excited about working with you guys" to "No, I can't work with you."

Dr. Bravo had multiple conversations with him during that period. He said several people who worked in "security" visited him and they gave him disturbing information. One of these he identified (and named) was a past Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Apparently, he was getting disinformation - because he had previously mentioned multiple times that we had been thoroughly checked out by the Intelligence Community before he was allowed to sign a contract with us.
Nothing had changed about us in the past few months. Hence, someone, somewhere must have decided that he indeed was capable of producing a paradigm-changing device, and The Orion Project was the group that could get it out to the world - and wanted that work to stop. This is called oppositional research or "oppo research", and it consists of distorting truth or telling absolute lies meant to deceive. One absurd statement he made is that he was told that we were teaching terrorists how to explode weapons of mass destruction by using their minds.

Just after this occurred, three more scientists who had agreed to work with us - with impeccable credentials and experience in the aerospace industry, a major government laboratory and military projects - were all provided with disinformation or threatened in some way to keep them from working with us. This is an astonishing example of how a group who wishes to retain power - this group called "Majestic" - keeps its grip on the world, maintaining the fossil fuel economy with its multi-trillion dollar derivatives value. Coal-mine shafts collapse worldwide and kill many, vast amounts of oil continue to spew into the Gulf of Mexico, while many in the world continue without basic energy resources.

We must have been on the right track for these beasts to circle their wagons with illegal wire-tapping of our conversations, interference with a legal contract, and bringing in a powerful former CIA director to intimidate and kill this initiative.
Further, since we started The Orion Project, Dr. Greer has received multiple death threats and repeatedly been stalked. This has accelerated in the last year. There are FBI files open on this as well as local law enforcement files. Dr. Greer's computer was hacked into by one of the most lethal programs a criminal can use. One of our chief engineers who is volunteering with The Orion Project had his email hacked into. A specific email from an inventor with a sensitive document that involved a Department of Defense memo and the inventor's contact information was deleted from his inbox - these were the only things tampered with.

So, what can we do in the face of these highly orchestrated suppression efforts?
We have, in the last couple of weeks, created a very extensive file (including both audio and paper documents) that contains information relating to these events. In the event that anything happens to any of us (injury, false legal charges, disappearance, death), and we cannot go forward, copies of this information will be released to the public. The file includes every bit of information about the scientists who can do this work and are not allowed to as well as very reliable evidence and information about those involved in the suppression - names, addresses, phone numbers, specific details of actions.

We have contacts who can get it to the President, as well as the highest people in the media and Hollywood. And it will be released to you. We feel this is the best strategic step we can take because we cannot enter into protracted legal battles with these individuals with limitless money and power. Our one weapon - the best one we could have - is the truth, and the documentation we have of the truth.
Our goal is not to get into endless fights with these corrupt individuals; we just want to give humanity a chance to move forward with earth-saving, life-saving technologies.

We have not raised the three million dollars we had hoped for to open a laboratory and invest in equipment and staff. We have only received enough to provide modest grants to people working on their own. With no facility, people who are senior scientists and engineers cannot quit their day jobs without assurance that we have a place to bring them and give them salaries.

We have concluded at this point that people working on their own without collaborative support or project management are not going to be able to do this work successfully. If there is anyone who has a fully operational technology, please go the www.theorionproject.org and review the protocol we have for moving forward. Of course, we will sign non-disclosure agreements.

We have some very qualified engineers who understand the complexity and the urgency of the situation. Dr. Greer, Dr. Loder, Dr. Bravo, and these engineers are volunteering their time and energy. None of us has ever taken a salary or any compensation for our efforts solely because we believe in what we are doing. So, if you know anyone or any group who has a legitimate technology and they are willing to cooperate transparently and honestly with the testing and reproduction of it so that it can be verified and shown to be legitimate, they are welcome to contact us.
With any technology, it is crucial to follow the scientific method of evaluation. There are inventors who say they have technologies that work, but they do not know how they work. Over the years, Dr. Greer has uncovered many frauds. An example has to do with one technology that Dr. Greer and Dr. Loder were called to evaluate. This was brought from another country and was actually a circuit embedded in a plastic resin that appeared to be pulling energy from the zero point or ether. The late Eugene Mallove, PhD (MIT - he is the scientist who blew the whistle on the distortion of cold fusion data and the coverup) was also involved in this evaluation. It turned out that this technology was actually a clever circuit that was tricking the meters and causing what is known as a power phase angle shift (the electronics people know what this means), but the bottom line is that many people had sunk money into this, and it was a clever fraud. This is why we require transparency. We are professionals. We have very professional engineers. We do not wish to be involved in a sleight of hand trick. We also cannot at this time fund people's ideas. We have come to the realization that in order to get this work done, we must set up a secure lab, properly equipped with scientific research equipment and a professional scientific staff.

We are also in the process of completing a professional proposal for funding. The individual writing it is first-rate and highly qualified. We have an extensive amount of research and information in this proposal that we believe will make it the best proposal put forward in the new energy field. We will make this proposal available to foundations. We have always realized that adequately outfitting a lab and bringing in the best talent will require millions of dollars. Although we have just endured the intimidation of these scientists (reported above), several more excellent scientists stand ready to work with us. So, if you are a personal point of contact to someone you think would be interested in funding really new energy sources, please feel free to contact us.

It has been a very trying two years, culminating in the recent events we have just reported. Yet we see the good future that is possible for humanity. We want to thank the many amazing people throughout the world who have supported our efforts and continue to support us.

X-Conference 2010 Status

PRG, while not a non-profit organization, is not a business and has never generated a profit. The X-Conference was launched primarily to bring the UFO/ET/Exopolitical issues to Washington, DC and park them under the collective nose of the politicians and the political media. If the X-Conference generated any revenues, that would have been useful. It hasn't

After the 2009 event PRG owed $26,000. That amount has been reduced to approximately $16,000, most of which is owed to the Hilton Hotel. The Hilton has now turned the matter over to attorneys and began making threats of further actions. PRG is of two minds on this. On the one hand the X-Conference has generated over $200,000 in revenue to the Hilton Hotel since 2004. On the other hand the hotel has been patient about the matter as it has been over seven months.

The issue is not about assets. PRG has none. What is important is the advocacy work, and that is now being impacted. X-Conference 2010 cannot go forward and other projects are slowed down by this distraction.

PRG needs someone who has the commitment to the truth process and the means to back it up to intervene and provide the funds to break this impasse - either as a contribution or a loan. There is no other option.

If this assistance comes before January 1, X-Conference 2010 can be promoted and PRG can get back to doing what it was created to do - ending the truth embargo as soon as possible.

There has been some confusion about the MFW. Is it over? Not at all. The MFW will continue until Disclosure takes place. New publicity for this effort is being planned and will get underway strongly at the first of the new year. Thousands more letters, faxes and emails will be on their way to the White House press corps care of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA).

Why the emphasis on the White House Correspondents Association? Two reasons: 1) a decision to ask the tough and appropriate questions by as few as two or three White House reporters could end the truth embargo in a matter of weeks, and 2) the White House itself gets a huge amount of correspondence. The WHCA gets a tiny fraction by comparison. Therefore, a WHCA focused campaign will stand out and be much more difficult to hide.

Why hasn't the White House or the WHCA acknowledged this correspondence? Simple. If they did, it would open the door for the press to ask to see the letters. The content of this correspondence would then set off a new round of questions - the very questions that need to be asked.

So they have to act as if nothing is happening and hope the MFW goes away. It isn't.

Recent Events of Note

Over a span of just a few days several matters manifested of some exopolitical significance. They are as follows:

Gary McKinnon - The indicted UK computer intruder has reached the very last days of his appeal process and now looks to be extradited to the United States to stand trial. PRG will be somewhat shocked if this happens, but, alas, these are interesting times and not much that governments do makes a great deal of sense anymore.

Whether or not it is in the best interest of McKinnon, if he is extradited it is going to create a huge media storm with considerable reference to the UFO/ET issues as well as the truth embargo. This will include numerous media spots for UFO/ET researchers and activists, lots of new YouTube videos and considerable print coverage, all of which PRG will assiduously archive.

In short, the extradition of Gary McKinnon will be one huge headache for the anti-Disclosure elements within the U.S. government.

Barack Obama - On December 1 at the United States Military Academy President Obama announced an escalation (surge) to the war in Afghanistan including the addition of 30,000 troops. As of this announcement the President took ownership of this war. Quite soon, if not already, the President will also have his name on the 62-year old UFO/ET truth embargo. Certainly this will be the case as of January 20 and the end of his first year in office. Consequently, PRG now sees a slightly greater likelihood that Disclosure will come initially from another first-world nation. With that in mind..........

But the problem was never the location.

Move 'em to Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, Alaska, do what you will.

They are still 'detainees', in prison, never having had the opportunity of trial by jury, no matter where you put them.

Obama says he's going to make sure they get their day in court. That's the change that matters.

Otherwise these surface changes are not Hope and Change, it's still hope for change.

This is a last minute plea for support for an end of year, last chance show of support for Gary McKinnon. Recently Alan 'Where's My Backbone?' Johnson claimed he could not intervene in the unfair extradition process now in its final stages. Gary could literally be in the USA by the start of 2010.

The demonstration was set to include meeting up outside Buckingham Palace but this has been stopped in the last few hours by the Met Police. The original demo is however set for Tuesday 15th December 2009 - 12 noon to 2pm at the Home Office, Marsham Street, London. Details below.

Obama-The UFO Disclosure President-Not

Recently, an anonymous left reader left a comment very critical of my article Obama-The Dislosure President.

Written a year ago, that article reflected the possibilites of Hope and Change that Obama promised during his election and how it might relate to the Disclosure Movement.

Of course, Obama never made any promises to disclose anything about ETs.

But it seemed that Obama was promising something other than business as usual, and after the dark Bush/Cheney years, that was most welcome. That promise could've had important implications for the Disclosure Movement. In fact, within the first week of taking office, Obama signed a Presidential Order requiring agencies to disclose information that they no longer needed to keep secret.

Unfortunately for Anonymous, he/she seems to have reacted with much emotion to my article and failed to read my most recent posts. In a way I can't blame him/her, and that's why I elected to keep the original comments, profane as they are.

Obama's recent announcement to expand the war in Afghanistan has ruffled my feathers quite a bit. I don't see any change to business as usual, and from reading the comments, Anonymous doesn't seem to either. People that are paying attention are upset-those that aren't seem to be just following Obama's charisma and eloquence. That must be what it is because that appears to be the only change I see at present. That, and in these hard times people need Hope and Change. People don't aren't ready to let go of that positive possibility.

With the announcement that Britain is shutting down their UFO Disclosure Department, the final nail seems to have been driven in the coffin of the Disclosure Movement for the moment. With countries like France, Britain, Mexico and others releasing what they know, and The Vatican making some very curious ET statements the past couple of years, this has served to put pressure on the United States to disclose.

The only reason I can see that Britain has decided to backpedal must be from some US pressure to the contrary.

Which is unusual because many within the ET research community have reported that there is a movement from within to disclose, and these sources expected an announcement just anyday now.

The other discouraging signal that disclosure is not imminent is the continued harassment of Gary McKinnon, who easily hacked into government databases in the US and found information that the US has on present knowledge of ETs. The US is bloodthirsty for McKinnon, attempting to get him extradited to the US for trial. The US claims millions of dollars of damage done by McKinnon.

If disclosure is on the books, then McKinnon would be a non-issue.

This is a curious claim indeed as the Air Force in the 1960s has already claimed that in their Project Bluebook that the ETs pose no security threat to the United States....

I try not to get to disappointed or excited either way. The Disclosure Movement is a slow process that has had numerous starts and stops in the last sixty years. It may be stalled for the moment, but there is always another day.

New Face, Same War-No More War

I've been holding off on any criticisms against Obama, taking a wait and see approach to see how he does. I was under the spell of Obama's promised Hope and Change rhetoric, and the day he was elected I felt a huge weight being lifted off this country and possibilities for this promised Hope and Change. I have seen both Alex Jones' 'The Obama Deception' and 'The Fall of the Republic'. Not offering comment, I still was holding out for Hope and Change.

But after last night's speech by Obama, not only expressing his decision for expanding Bush's war, but lying to the American people about issues regarding exploiting other country's resources and being 'misunderstood' by the international community, it is time to speak out and draw a line in the sand, if only as an expression of concern from a spiritual perspective regarding the continuation of war across the globe.

"For unlike the great powers of old, we have not sought world domination. Our union was founded in resistance to oppression. We do not seek to occupy other nations. We will not claim another nation's resources or target other peoples because their faith or ethnicity is different from ours."

"We will not claim another nation's resources or target other peoples because their faith or ethnicity is different from ours." He's right there, claiming resources regardless of faith or ethnicity. We are an equal opportunity agressor. If there were White Christians in the Middle East, the oil would still be good.

Did we trade in George W. for Obama simply because we didn't respect the opportunistic son of a former President? Did we not like him because he was a less than dynamic speaker? Did the Republican Party fail because it was connected the George W. whom we just didn't like? Was this the depth of the public's overwhelming dissatisfaction with George W?

Or was it the policies. Was it the 8 year war that we opposed? Was it the illegal wiretapping? Was it the signing statements? Was it the continual shredding of our Constitution, which has not stopped since Obama has taken office? We have swallowed the red pill of Hope and Change and we have fallen asleep because we are under the illusion that the same policies with a more attractive face and a more appealing demeanor makes it ok.

It is not ok. Illegal wars against countries that did not provoke us are still illegal. Just this week it was revealed that 8 months before England entered the war, former Prime Minister Tony Blair received an email from Lord Goldsmith that the Iraq war was illegal and that deposing Sadaam would breach international law.

Regardless, I have great concern that President Obama's decision is the final straw for this country's future. If there is only one thing that comes out of this great failure, my hope it would be this-that the world will finally be deeply convinced that war can never again be an option towards settling our differnces.

Webster Tarpley-Protest Upcoming Troop Surge

Webster Tarpley, on his radio show 'World Crisis Radio' is urging Americans to protest Obama's upcoming announcement to send an additional 35,000 troops to Afghanistan. Obama is also anticipated to request another 10,000 troops from NATO. Levels will be then be over 100,000, nearly equal to that which Russia had in their campaign.

I voted for Obama because of his promises of Hope and Change. He said during his campaign that there never was a military solution in the Middle East. He has broken mostly all of his campaign promises, but this one-calling for an expanded war was one my biggest attractions to Obama, and one of his biggest calling cards.

My purpose for following up this on this blog is two-fold.

Our country is in a race to the bottom as we continue to be the world's largest exporter of war. It is about the only thing the US still builds and exports. Remember that it has been said that WWII helped keep the US out of another Depression. The US has continued this War Economy at the expense of millions of lives.

The other issue that concerns me is that there has been much talk of a US disclosure of extraterrestrial life in the next few weeks. There are great powers in the world that do not want this to happen. A surge in the war again takes the ET issue back off the radar, as did the economic issue which Obama inherited, consuming so much of his time that that was all he could deal with getting into office.

While this is partly conjecture, it is not without precedent. The Disclosure Project witness testimony, one of the largest National Press Club Events and at the time was the largest downloaded presentation, happened just months before the events of 9/11.

While some have dismissed the claim that 9/11 was a false flag event, Dr. Carol Rosin gave testimony at that event that powers in the government were planning such an event as early as the 1970s.

Tarpley announced a large war protest in DC at 11:00 AM across from the White House on December 12, 2009. There was a large decrease in protest activity at the beginning of Obama's term. It turns out I'm not the only member of my family giving Amegy Bank grief.

Bank Didn't Need Another Name Change

Dear Mr. McLean,

I’ve only lived in Baytown for four-and-a-half years, and I’ve already banked at Citizens Bank and Trust, Southwest Bank of Texas and, beginning March 7, I understand that I’ll be banking at Amegy Bank.

I’ve never changed banks. The bank keeps changing names.

The first name change resulted from a merger that ended the 80-year Baytown tradition of Citizens Bank. The most recent name change came about for several reasons, not the least of which is because someone in your company decided the bank’s name should reflect the company’s “dynamism.”

I had a few reactions when I learned about this. First, I had to look up “dynamism” in the dictionary to make sure it is an actual word. It sounds like an intestinal disorder. But Webster says it means “a theory that all phenomena can be explained as manifestations of force.” It’s also a “dynamic or expansionist quality.”

Next, I tried looking up “Amegy.” I didn’t find it. I did, however, find “amebic dysentery,” which, interestingly enough, is an intestinal disorder. Here’s what you had to say about the origins of the new bank name: “Amegy is a coined word that reflects the ‘energy’ of the people of ‘America.’”

I didn’t need to look up the word “coined.” I know it means “made up.”

I also understand that Amegy will be launching a series of high-energy (there’s that word again) radio and television commercials to help with the transition.

Since when did “energy” become such a crucial element in banking? I’ve never heard anyone say, “I switched banks because my old one just didn’t have enough energy.” The only energy I need, as far as my banking is concerned, is enough to get me out of bed and into the bank drive-through with my husband’s paycheck every Monday morning.

English is a fine language. Was there really no existing word suitable for your financial institution? Personally, I’m not looking for energy in a bank. You know what I like in a bank? I like the free popcorn on Fridays in the lobby. So why not “Free Popcorn Bank?” I’d also like a bank that doesn’t send back little pieces of paper at the drive-through trying to get me to sign up a friend for a checking account. Isn’t that your bank’s job? How about “The We-Won’t-Trash-Up-Your-Car-With-Little-Pieces-of-Paper Bank?”

If I seem a little cranky, the news of your bank’s name change came out the same day I read the results of a Swedish study on kissing. It seems that during a typical French kiss, more than 40,000 parasites and 250 types of bacteria are exchanged. I figure that in 11 years of marriage, my husband and I have exchanged close to 200 million parasites. I’m in a deep state of gross-out right now, and it’s made me a little testy.

The good news is that your bank’s new name has inspired me. I’d like to change my own name to reflect qualities for which I’d like to be known.

From now on, I’d like to be known as “Smute.”

“Smute” is a coined word that reflects how smart and cute I am. Please address all correspondence accordingly.

Texas Gubernatorial Race, 2010

That 90.1 radio in Austin operates below the radar is not a clever statement. The station, which broadcasts shows within the Genesis Communications Network, operates below the levels required by the FCC for non-licensed stations. The station is strongest in Central Austin. It moved to 100.1 for a short time, but is now back on 90.1.

Last night I was listening to a radio show ‘Rule of Law’. The host was speaking about the upcoming Texas Governor race and how Ron Paul has really changed the political environment.

He stated that Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchinson are both known Bilderberg attendees, the regular secret meetings of the power elite.
The only 2 current independent governor candidates are Debra Medina and Kinky Friedman.

According to Medina’s Wikipedia entry under Texas gubernatorial election, 2010

"Among Medina's stances are private property rights, gun ownership, individual responsibility and adherence to the Constitution. She has actively opposed big government, taxes, bailouts, mandatory vaccinations, the Trans-Texas Corridor and abortion."

We should be careful in having too many gubernatorial candidates. Last year out of six candidates, Perry won, but with only 39% of the total votes.

For several years Alex Jones and others have been warning against a citizens reporting situtation to where we would look out for neighbors doing suspicious things. And they labeled him a Conspiracy Theorist.

This is theory no longer. The following video is directly from the Dept of Homeland Security, detailing the 8 signs of a terrorist.

I have made a quick survey you can take:

Do you buy or handle gold bullion?
Do you use a watch, binoculars or donate to charity?
Do you use email or the telephone to get information about things?
Do you monitor police radio? My grandma used to do this, she must have been the best chocolate chip cookie terrorist in the world.
Do you notice surveillance cameras or try to watch big brother back?
Do you steal or trespass?
Do you take pictures?

If you answered yes to any one of these questions, you are a terrorist. You should report yourself right away and quit taking airplanes.

Dead Peasant Policy: Amegy's Response

I recently contact Amegy Bank, questioning them about their Dead Peasant Policy.
Below is their response:

I am forwarding this response to Mike Myers, the attorney interviewed in Moore's movie regarding the Dead Peasants Policy

Dear Brian,

Thank you for contacting Amegy Bank. Unfortunately, Michael Moore’s recent movie does not include all relevant facts and therefore we understand why you are concerned. While we do not comment on pending litigation out of fairness to both sides, let us explain more about our Bank Owned Life Insurance program (BOLI).

Amegy acted appropriately and fairly in offering and administering our BOLI plan and we are prepared to support our actions. Amegy, like nearly 85% of banks our size, offered bank owned life insurance to bank employees who were Vice President and above from 1998 to 2005. Participation in Amegy’s BOLI plan is completely voluntary. Amegy’s program enabled participating employees to name beneficiaries of a portion of the policy proceeds.

BOLI is recognized and permitted by all regulatory authorities, including the SEC, OCC and FDIC, and is authorized by Texas statute.

Some companies have been criticized for their BOLI plans because they did not receive consent from their employees and their employees do not share in the death benefits. Amegy’s plan is very different: our plan is voluntary; employees agreed to participate; and each currently-employed or vested participant’s beneficiary receives insurance benefits upon the death of the insured employee.

I saw Michael Moore's movie, 'Capitalism: A Love
Story'. I learned about a young cake baker that you took out a Life
Insurance policy on, a Dead Peasant's Policy. She died and apparently
Wal Mart not only collected the insurance policy, but shared nothing
with the survivor. Moore stated you no longer engage in this practice,
for which I commend you.

Nevertheless, simply withdrawing the practice is hardly enough. You owe
to the survivors a sizable financial contribution for this horrible
practice. Let me know when you do and then I will not only quit feeling
nauseous when I am near your stores or see your ads, I will actually
begin shopping there again.

This long awaited movie finally made its debut on The History Channel last night, it is a 2 hour special. I was hoping to see the whole thing, but only could watch an hour so far. It is a very explosive hard hitting documentary making it crystal clear that 'they are here'.

The show started out discussing The Phoenix Lights, with good eyewitness testimony. The show centers around the Fox disclosure event that occurred a couple of years ago at the National Press Club. The show also contrasted the change in Dr. Hynek's thinking on UFOs, along with continual military denial of the event. The show does a great job of showing that the government has continued to study UFOs even after they continue to say that they don't. The Rendelsham Event was also heavily discussed. The show was complete with lots of pictures.

I watched the show with my girlfriend who tolerates my interest in UFOs, and the show sparked some good conversation. Her frustration with the movie after the 1st hour was that she thought it was '...alright, already, I get it, something is going on that is being covered up!'

This sums up the weight of the evidence presented. I only hope that The History Channel will air this again

Review- Capitalism: A Love Story

I was going to post this yesterday, but I wanted to get the word out on the Dead Peasant Policy first.

Go see this movie. But keep in mind that Michael Moore's new movie should not be considered entertainment. The mock warning at the beginning lifted from a 1960s movies is a valid warning. I was completely sick to my stomach during the whole movie, and this not due to any lack of film making on Moore's part. His style of course makes the movie completely engrossing.

Rather, I was sick of seeing how big business and banking has not served the America nor the world well, only serving themselves and the almighty dollar at the expense of everyone else.

Thank you Moore for making this movie.

Moore seems to suggest Socialism would be better than Capitalism, in theory because of a more fair distribution of wealth. Moore also attempts to break down the negative connotations that we in America have of Socialism.

I would assert that Capitalism was fine before Corporate Greed took over. The problem was that there was never anything that protected the masses from big business.

Moore points out that Franklin Roosevelt did attempt to correct this shortcoming, but he passed away before this could be done.

Moore barely addresses Obama's potential role as someone to help the situation or make it worse. He does point out the fact that Goldman Sachs was the largest contributor to Obama's campaign, and he also points out that Obama supported the striking workers that were waiting for Bank Of America to pay them before they would leave, in which they were victorious. Perhaps Moore is taking a wait and see approach before a judgement is rendered.

Moore left out the fact that a large majority of Obama's cabinet members are from banking and financial interests. And he could have included the issue that the Federal Reserve is independent from the government rather than a part of the government.

Perhaps Moore was trying to keep his focus on the points that he did make, and in this he succeeded.

Every US citizen should be required to see this movie.

Dead Peasant's Policy

I saw Michael Moore's new movie last night and the movie interviewed two surviving families of spouses who worked for companies that took out Dead Peasant's Policies on them. Moreover, none of these funds were ever shared with the surviving spouses. One deceased spouse had worked for Amegy Bank, the other for Wal Mart.

What is a Dead Peasant's Policy?

Attorney Mike Myers lists the following definition on his website http://deadpeasantinsurance.com/:

Dead Peasant Insurance is sometimes used as a shorthand reference for life insurance policies that insure a company’s rank-and-file employees and name the company as the beneficiary. This means that the company receives the life insurance benefits when the covered employees die. This insurance may also be called “janitor insurance,”…

Attorney Myers also explains how the Dead Peasant's term came to be:

Winn Dixie Stores bought life insurance policies on approximately 36,000 of its employees, without their knowledge or consent, and named itself as the policies’ beneficiary. The insurance brokerage firm that placed the policies prepared two memos describing the deceased employees as “Dead Peasants.” These memos were part of the court’s record in a lawsuit in which the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit held that Winn-Dixie’s policies were a sham transaction for federal income tax purposes. The memos were later used by reporters such as Ellen Schultz and Theo Francis of the Wall Street Journal and L.M. Sixel of the Houston Chronicle and incorporated into articles about this type of insurance.

This practice was not only used by a few wayward companies. Myers also lists other companies known to engage in this practice, but disclosure has not always been required, so there may be many other companies as well:

Welcome address to freshman class at Boston Conservatory
given by Karl Paulnack, pianist and director of music division at
Boston Conservatory

"One of my parents' deepest fears, I suspect, is that society
would not properly value me as a musician, that I wouldn't be appreciated. I
had very good grades in high school, I was good in science and math, and they
imagined that as a doctor or a research chemist or an engineer, I might be
more appreciated than I would be as a musician. I still remember
my mother's remark when I announced my decision to apply to music school-she
said, "You're WASTING your SAT scores." On some level, I think, my
parents were not sure themselves what the value of music was, what its
purpose was. And they LOVED music, they listened to classical music all the time.
They just weren't really clear about its function. So let me talk about that
a little bit, because we live in a society that puts music in the "arts and
entertainment" section of the newspaper, and serious music, the
kind your kids are about to engage in, has absolutely nothing whatsoever to
do with entertainment, in fact it's the opposite of entertainment.. Let me
talk a little bit about music, and how it works.

The first people to understand how music really works were the
ancient Greeks. And this is going to fascinate you; the Greeks said that
music and astronomy were two sides of the same coin. Astronomy was seen as
the study of relationships between observable, permanent, external objects,
and music was seen as the study of relationships between invisible,
internal, hidden objects. Music has a way of finding the big, invisible
moving pieces inside our hearts and souls and helping us figure out the position of
things inside us. Let me give you some examples of how this works.

One of the most profound musical compositions of all time is the
Quartet for the End of Time written by French composer Olivier Messiaen in
1940. Messiaen was 31 years old when France entered the war against Nazi
Germany. He was captured by the Germans in June of 1940, sent across
Germany in a cattle car and imprisoned in a concentration camp.

He was fortunate to find a sympathetic prison guard who gave him
paper and a place to compose. There were three other musicians in the camp, a
cellist, a violinist, and a clarinetist, and Messiaen wrote his quartet with
these specific players in mind. It was performed in January 1941 for
four thousand prisoners and guards in the prison camp. Today it is one of the
most famous masterworks in the repertoire.

Given what we have since learned about life in the concentration
camps, why would anyone in his right mind waste time and energy writing or
playing music? There was barely enough energy on a good day to find food
and water, to avoid a beating, to stay warm, to escape torture-why would
anyone bother with music? And yet-from the camps, we have poetry, we have
music, we have visual art; it wasn't just this one fanatic Messiaen; many, many
people created art. Why? Well, in a place where people are only focused on
survival, on the bare necessities, the obvious conclusion is that
art must be, somehow, essential for life. The camps were without money,
without hope, without commerce, without recreation, without basic respect,
but they were not without art. Art is part of survival; art is part of the human
spirit, an unquenchable expression of who we are. Art is one of the ways
in which we say, "I am alive, and my life has meaning."

On September 12, 2001 I was a resident of Manhattan. That morning
I reached a new understanding of my art and its relationship to the world. I
sat down at the piano that morning at 10 AM to practice as was my daily
routine; I did it by force of habit, without thinking about it. I lifted the
cover on the keyboard, and opened my music, and put my hands on the keys
and took my hands off the keys. And I sat there and thought, does this even
matter? Isn't this completely irrelevant? Playing the piano right now,
given what happened in this city yesterday, seems silly, absurd, irreverent,
pointless. Why am I here? What place has a musician in this moment in time?
Who needs a piano player right now? I was completely lost.

And then I, along with the rest of New York, went through the journey of
getting through that week. I did not play the piano that day, and
in fact I contemplated briefly whether I would ever want to play the piano
again. And then I observed how we got through the day.

At least in my neighborhood, we didn't shoot hoops or play
Scrabble. We didn't play cards to pass the time, we didn't watch TV, we
didn't shop, we most certainly did not go to the mall. The first organized
activity that I saw in New York, that same day, was singing. People sang.
People sang around fire houses, people sang "We Shall Overcome". Lots of people sang
America the Beautiful. The first organized public event that I remember
was the Brahms Requiem, later that week, at Lincoln Center, with the New York
Philharmonic. The first organized public expression of grief, our
first communal response to that historic event, was a concert. That was the
beginning of a sense that life might go on. The US Military
secured the airspace, but recovery was led by the arts, and by music in
particular, that very night.

From these two experiences, I have come to understand that music
is not part of "arts and entertainment" as the newspaper section would
have us believe. It's not a luxury, a lavish thing that we fund from leftovers of our
budgets, not a plaything or an amusement or a pass time. Music is
a basic need of human survival. Music is one of the ways we make sense of
our lives, one of the ways in which we express feelings when we have no
words, a way for us to understand things with our hearts when we can't
with our minds.

Some of you may know Samuel Barber's heart-wrenchingly beautiful
piece Adagio for Strings. If you don't know it by that name, then some of you
may know it as the background music which accompanied the Oliver Stone movie
Platoon, a film about the Vietnam War. If you know that piece of music either
way, you know it has the ability to crack your heart open like a walnut; it
can make you cry over sadness you didn't know you had. Music can slip
beneath our conscious reality to get at what's really going on inside us the
way a good therapist does.

I bet that you have never been to a wedding where there was
absolutely no music. There might have been only a little music, there
might have been some really bad music, but I bet you there was some music. And
something very predictable happens at weddings-people get all pent up with
all kinds of emotions, and then there's some musical moment where the action of
the wedding stops and someone sings or plays the flute or something.
And even if the music is lame, even if the quality isn't good, predictably 30
or 40 percent of the people who are going to cry at a wedding cry a
couple of moments after the music starts. Why? The Greeks. Music allows us
to move around those big invisible pieces of ourselves and rearrange our
insides so that we can express what we feel even when we can't talk about it.
Can you imagine watching Indiana Jones or Superman or Star Wars with the
dialogue but no music? What is it about the music swelling up at just the
right moment in ET so that all the softies in the audience start crying
at exactly the same moment? I guarantee you if you showed the movie with the
music stripped out, it wouldn't happen that way. The Greeks: Music is the
understanding of the relationship between invisible internal objects.

I'll give you one more example, the story of the most important
concert of my life. I must tell you I have played a little less than a
thousand concerts in my life so far. I have played in places that I thought
were important. I like playing in Carnegie Hall; I enjoyed playing in
Paris; it made me very happy to please the critics in St. Petersburg. I have
played for people I thought were important; music critics of major
newspapers, foreign heads of state. The most important concert of my entire
life took place in a nursing home in Fargo, ND, about 4 years ago.

I was playing with a very dear friend of mine who is a violinist.
We began, as we often do, with Aaron Copland's Sonata, which was written
during World War II and dedicated to a young friend of Copland's, a young
pilot who was shot down during the war. Now we often talk to our audiences about
the pieces we are going to play rather than providing them with
written program notes. But in this case, because we began the concert with
this piece, we decided to talk about the piece later in the program and to just
come out and play the music without explanation.

Midway through the piece, an elderly man seated in a wheelchair
near the front of the concert hall began to weep. This man, whom I later
met, was clearly a soldier-even in his 70's, it was clear from his buzz-cut
hair, square jaw and general demeanor that he had spent a good deal of
his life in the military. I thought it a little bit odd that someone would be
moved to tears by that particular movement of that particular piece, but it
wasn't the first time I've heard crying in a concert and we went on with the
concert and finished the piece.

When we came out to play the next piece on the program, we decided
to talk about both the first and second pieces, and we described the
circumstances in which the Copland was written and mentioned its
dedication to a downed pilot. The man in the front of the audience became so disturbed
that he had to leave the auditorium. I honestly figured that we would not see
him again, but he did come backstage afterwards, tears and all, to explain
himself.

What he told us was this: "During World War II, I was a pilot, and
I was in an aerial combat situation where one of my team's planes was hit.
I watched my friend bail out, and watched his parachute open, but the
Japanese planes which had engaged us returned and machine gunned across the
parachute chords so as to separate the parachute from the pilot, and I
watched my friend drop away into the ocean, realizing that he was lost. I have not
thought about this for many years, but during that first piece of music you
played, this memory returned to me so vividly that it was as though I was
reliving it. I didn't understand why this was happening, why now, but then
when you came out to explain that this piece of music was written to commemorate
a lost pilot, it was a little more than I could handle. How does the
music do that? How did it find those feelings and those memories in me?

Remember the Greeks: music is the study of invisible relationships
between internal objects. This concert in Fargo was the most important
work I have ever done. For me to play for this old soldier and help him
connect, somehow, with Aaron Copland, and to connect their memories of
their lost friends, to help him remember and mourn his friend, this is my
work. This is why music matters.

What follows is part of the talk I will give to this year's freshman class
when I welcome them a few days from now. The responsibility I will
charge your sons and daughters with is this:

"If we were a medical school, and you were here as a med student
practicing appendectomies, you'd take your work very seriously because you
would imagine that some night at two AM someone is going to waltz into your
emergency room and you're going to have to save their life. Well, my
friends, someday at 8 PM someone is going to walk into your
concert hall and bring you a mind that is confused, a heart that is
overwhelmed, a soul that is weary. Whether they go out whole again will depend partly on how well you do your craft.

You're not here to become an entertainer, and you don't have to sell
yourself. The truth is you don't have anything to sell; being a
musician isn't about dispensing a product, like selling used Chevies. I'm
not an entertainer; I'm a lot closer to a paramedic, a firefighter, a rescue
worker. You're here to become a sort of therapist for the human
soul, a spiritual version of a chiropractor, physical therapist, someone
who works with our insides to see if they get things to line up, to see if
we can come into harmony with ourselves and be healthy and happy and well..
Frankly, ladies and gentlemen, I expect you not only to master
music; I expect you to save the planet. If there is a future wave of
wellness on this planet, of harmony, of peace, of an end to war, of mutual
understanding, of equality, of fairness, I don't expect it will come from a
government, a military force or a corporation. I no longer even expect it to
come from the religions of the world, which together seem to have brought
us as much war as they have peace. If there is a future of peace for humankind,
if there is to be an understanding of how these invisible, internal things
should fit together, I expect it will come from the artists, because that's
what we do. As in the concentration camp and the evening of 9/11, the artists
are the ones who might be able to help us with our internal, invisible
lives."

On the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, there remain unanswered questions surrounding the events that transpired that day. These questions demand answers, and far from being a “fringe” movement as cast by the mainstream media, many of the 9/11 commission members themselves doubt the official story.

The following are a few examples:

Senator Max Cleland, who resigned from the 9/11 Commission after calling it a “national scandal”, stated in a 2003 PBS interview,

“I’m saying that’s deliberate. I am saying that the delay in relating this information to the American public out of a hearing… series of hearings, that several members of Congress knew eight or ten months ago, including Bob Graham and others, that was deliberately slow walked… the 9/11 Commission was deliberately slow walked, because the Administration’s policy was, and its priority was, we’re gonna take Saddam Hussein out.”

Cleland, speaking with Democracy Now, said,

“One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up”.

In 2006 the Washington Post reported that several members of the 9/11 Commission suspected deception on part of the Pentagon. As reported,[in the Washington Post]

“Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon’s initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.”

9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerry also has unanswered questions. As reported by Salon, he believes that there are legitimate reasons to believe an alternative version to the official story.

“There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version,” Kerrey said. The commission had limited time and limited resources to pursue its investigation, and its access to key documents and witnesses was fettered by the administration.

Commissioner Tim Roemer, speaking to CNN, stated that Commission members were considering a criminal probe of false statements. As quoted,

“We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting,” Roemer told CNN. “We were not sure of the intent, whether it was to deceive the commission or merely part of the fumbling bureaucracy.”

Richard Hoagland Banned From Facbook

Russia Today: Russian Navy UFO records say aliens love oceans

The Russian navy has declassified its records of encounters with unidentified objects technologically surpassing anything humanity ever built, reports Svobodnaya Pressa news website.

The records dating back to soviet times were compiled by a special navy group collecting reports of unexplained incidents delivered by submarines and military ships. I write this on the morning of the end of the once-mighty General Motors. By high noon, the President of the United States will have made it official: General Motors, as we know it, has been totaled.

As I sit here in GM's birthplace, Flint, Michigan, I am surrounded by friends and family who are filled with anxiety about what will happen to them and to the town. Forty percent of the homes and businesses in the city have been abandoned. Imagine what it would be like if you lived in a city where almost every other house is empty. What would be your state of mind?

It is with sad irony that the company which invented "planned obsolescence" -- the decision to build cars that would fall apart after a few years so that the customer would then have to buy a new one -- has now made itself obsolete. It refused to build automobiles that the public wanted, cars that got great gas mileage, were as safe as they could be, and were exceedingly comfortable to drive. Oh -- and that wouldn't start falling apart after two years. GM stubbornly fought environmental and safety regulations. Its executives arrogantly ignored the "inferior" Japanese and German cars, cars which would become the gold standard for automobile buyers. And it was hell-bent on punishing its unionized workforce, lopping off thousands of workers for no good reason other than to "improve" the short-term bottom line of the corporation. Beginning in the 1980s, when GM was posting record profits, it moved countless jobs to Mexico and elsewhere, thus destroying the lives of tens of thousands of hard-working Americans. The glaring stupidity of this policy was that, when they eliminated the income of so many middle class families, who did they think was going to be able to afford to buy their cars? History will record this blunder in the same way it now writes about the French building the Maginot Line or how the Romans cluelessly poisoned their own water system with lethal lead in its pipes.

CNN-Gingrich: 'Absolute obligation' to investigate Pelosi

The whole time Bush/Cheney was in office, Dennis Kucinich and others were trying to get Bush and Cheney impeached for war crimes, including torture. Nancy Pelosi kept repeating over and over that impeachment was off the table, and she did nothing to prosecute or attempt in any way to right these wrongs.

It has been suspected for a long time that the reason why she didn't do this is because she would implicate herself for having knowledge of these events.

It seems quite unusual that the Neo Cons are coming back to haunt Pelosi over this issue, especially since she has done so much to attempt to protect them. If she were to tell what she knew, then that would most likely implicate Bush and Cheney directly.

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, shown after his Apollo mission in 1971, claims there "is no doubt we are being visited."

Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments.

He delivered his remarks during an appearance at the National Press Club following the conclusion of the fifth annual X-Conference, a meeting of UFO activists and researchers studying the possibility of alien life forms.

Mankind has long wondered if we're "alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone," Mitchell said.

Review: Dr. Michael Salla on Coast To Coast Last Night

Dr. Michael Salla and his colleague and friend Dr. Alfred Webre have been writing some very interesting articles recently on the Obama administration and ET disclosure.

Dr. Salla was interviewed last night on Coast To Coast with host George Knapp about this very issue. Some very interesting side issues came up.

Dr. Salla appeared to be a bit more cautious in regarding the question of whether or not Obama will 'go there'. He did point out the signs that point to the possibility-namely key members of his cabinet that are either known to be pro-disclosure or at least in the know about the issue. He took more of the approach that disclosure is a process.

He stated also that current movies out-'Return to Witch Mountain' and 'Monsters vs Aliens' are also a good sign that a preparation is underway.

I take issue with this assertion as these movies as well as many others continue to paint ETs as evil and war mongering, and I believe that these movies are preparing the public for a negative false flag ET event on the scale of 9/11.

Dr. Salla also pointed to Dr. Stephen Greer and the May 2001 Disclosure Event as a big influence on Dr. Salla getting involved in the ET issue. As a university teacher, Dr. Salla is highly trained in Political Science, and thus is where his concept of Exopolitics comes from.

Host George Knapp took issue with Dr. Salla on a few points, relating to Greer and the idea that ETs are no more interested in disclosing themselves to us than our own government is. He pointed to a statement by Whitley Strieber-all they have to do is land on the White House lawn. Mr. Knapp seems to be unaware that for several days in 1952 the ETs did almost just that, with many witnessing numerous ETs flying directly over the White House.

Mr. Knapp also took issue with the effect and importance that Greer has had on ufology, saying that many in the UFO community would take issue with Salla on that point. Mr. Knapp didn't give any specific examples but I'm sure his statement satisfied many abovetopsecret.com members. Dr. Salla pointed back to the military witnesses that Greer was able to organize, and on the point Knapp had to concede.

Mr. Knapp also made reference to an unnamed source who revealed to him that the May 2001 Disclosure Event actually subverted a potential hearing that Congress was about to have.

Mr. Knapp was again caught napping by making this statement. During the time of the May 2001 event many members of Congress were briefed by Greer and his team of military witnesses. Even if such a congressional hearing were to have taken place in 2001 as Knapp claims, it was too little, too late. The last such hearing was in the late 50s, early 60s. Anyway, Greer states that he was working with government insiders at the time and gave the government every opporunity to take actio. He states he got the all clear to move forward with his event.

Dr. Salla's complimentary attitude towards Greer and even coming to his defense was very surprising given previous disagreements between Greer and Salla regarding the peacefulness of ETs. But Salla's recent articles reflect this same line of thought and show that there is enough room for professional respect and disagreement within the issue of UFOs.

CNN: Galaxy may be full of 'Earths,' alien life

As we move towards eventual disclosure, the mainstream media will continue to prepare the public for such an event. The following is an example of one such preperatory article that appeared today on CNN's website.

The last major media event was on Larry King during the month of July, which featured an unprecedented three shows dedicated to the subject.

(CNN) -- As NASA prepares to hunt for Earth-like planets in our corner of the Milky Way galaxy, there's new buzz that "Star Trek's" vision of a universe full of life may not be that far-fetched.

Pointy-eared aliens traveling at light speed are staying firmly in science fiction, but scientists are offering fresh insights into the possible existence of inhabited worlds and intelligent civilizations in space.

There may be 100 billion Earth-like planets in the Milky Way, or one for every sun-type star in the galaxy, said Alan Boss, an astronomer with the Carnegie Institution and author of the new book "The Crowded Universe: The Search for Living Planets."

He made the prediction based on the number of "super-Earths" -- planets several times the mass of the Earth, but smaller than gas giants like Jupiter -- discovered so far circling stars outside the solar system.

Boss said that if any of the billions of Earth-like worlds he believes exist in the Milky Way have liquid water, they are likely to be home to some type of life.

"Now that's not saying that they're all going to be crawling with intelligent human beings or even dinosaurs," he said.

"But I would suspect that the great majority of them at least will have some sort of primitive life, like bacteria or some of the multicellular creatures that populated our Earth for the first 3 billion years of its existence."

Putting a number on alien worlds

Other scientists are taking another approach: an analysis that suggests there could be hundreds, even thousands, of intelligent civilizations in the Milky Way.

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland constructed a computer model to create a synthetic galaxy with billions of stars and planets. They then studied how life evolved under various conditions in this virtual world, using a supercomputer to crunch the results.

• The Milky Way is believed to be more than 13 billion years old.

• It is just one of billions of galaxies in the universe.

• The Milky Way has a circumference of about 250,000-300,000 light years.

• It is about 100,000 light years in diameter.

• There are three types of galaxies: ellipticals, spirals and irregulars.

• The Milky Way is a large disk-shaped barred spiral galaxy. (A barred galaxy has a bar-shaped structure in its middle.)

In a paper published recently in the International Journal of Astrobiology, the researchers concluded that based on what they saw, at least 361 intelligent civilizations have emerged in the Milky Way since its creation, and as many as 38,000 may have formed.

Duncan Forgan, a doctoral candidate at the university who led the study, said he was surprised by the hardiness of life on these other worlds.

"The computer model takes into account what we refer to as resetting or extinction events. The classic example is the asteroid impact that may have wiped out the dinosaurs," Forgan said.

"I half-expected these events to disallow the rise of intelligence, and yet civilizations seemed to flourish."

Forgan readily admits the results are an educated guess at best, since there are still many unanswered questions about how life formed on Earth and only limited information about the 330 "exoplanets" -- those circling sun-like stars outside the solar system -- discovered so far.

The first was confirmed in 1995 and the latest just this month when Europe's COROT space telescope spotted the smallest terrestrial exoplanet ever found. With a diameter less than twice the size of Earth, the planet orbits very close to its star and has temperatures up to 1,500° Celsius (more than 2,700° Fahrenheit), according to the European Space Agency. It may be rocky and covered in lava.

Hunt for habitable planets

NASA is hoping to find much more habitable worlds with the help of the upcoming Kepler mission. The spacecraft, set to be launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida next week, will search for Earth-size planets in our part of the galaxy.

Kepler contains a special telescope that will study 100,000 stars in the Cygnus-Lyra region of the Milky Way for more than three years. It will look for small dips in a star's brightness, which can mean an orbiting planet is passing in front it -- an event called a transit.

"It's akin to measuring a flea as it creeps across the headlight of an automobile at night," said Kepler project manager James Fanson during a during a NASA news conference.

The focus of the mission is finding planets in a star's habitable zone, an orbit that would ensure temperatures in which life could exist. Watch a NASA scientist explain the search for habitable planets »

Boss, who serves on the Kepler Science Council, said scientists should know by 2013 -- the end of Kepler's mission -- whether life in the universe could be widespread.

Finding intelligent life is a very different matter. For all the speculation about the possibility of other civilizations in the universe, the question remains: If the rise of life on Earth isn't unique and aliens are common, why haven't they shown up or contacted us? The contradiction was famously summed up by the physicist Enrico Fermi in 1950 in what became known as the Fermi paradox: "Where is everybody?"

The answer may be the vastness of time and space, scientists explained.

"Civilizations come and go," Boss said. "Chances are, if you do happen to find a planet which is going to have intelligent life, it's not going to be in [the same] phase of us. It may have formed a billion years ago, or maybe it's not going to form for another billion years."

Even if intelligent civilizations did exist at the same time, they probably would be be separated by tens of thousands of light years, Forgan said. If aliens have just switched on their transmitter to communicate, it could take us hundreds of centuries to receive their message, he added.

To illustrate, Boss said the fastest rockets available to us right now are those being used in NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto. Even going at that rate of speed, it would take 100,000 years to get from Earth to the closest star outside the solar system, he added.

"So when you think about that, maybe we shouldn't be worried about having interstellar air raids any time soon," Boss said.

Reading ETs Between the Lines-Obama's Inagural Speech

If Obama wants to end government secrecy around UFOs, that would satisfy the lot of us. Other than allying himself with John Podesta and others that have publically voiced ET interests, his own thoughts or agenda regarding this issue have been also a well kept secret. The only public statement he's made to date regarding UFOs was during the Democratic Presidential debates when he successfully evaded the question.

In restrospect, Obama acted with wise discretion on this issue. The US needs a no nonsense and focused leader during its current time of crisis. While I believe the release of ET information and more importantly the related technology will have a significant impact on the problems our country and the world faces, the majority of Americans, while they may believe in ETs, don't understand the full breadth of the issue and still mostly consider it a tin foil hat subject.

In other words, coming public about ETs may have 'alienated' Obama from many of the voters that put him over the top, no pun intended.

However Obama's recent inaugural speech and memoranda give hints that our new President may have a very deep understanding of this issue. Podesta may be one reason why. It may also be that Laurance Rockefeller's investment toward attempting to convince former President Clinton to disclose may also be continuing to carry some momentum through the current Secretary of State. While the hints he gives are subtle, and may apply to a broader area of issues, they are worthy of consideration for our purposes, strengthened by the memorandums issued only days later.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost.

And later in his speech this concept is repeated:

Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new.

This sticks out very strongly to anyone who has spent anytime looking at this issue. Technology's wonders certainly don't refer to cars, the power grid and digital lines. Obama is certainly looking further than solar to solve these issues.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

This recalls Dr. Greer's 'Hidden Truth, Forbidden Knowledge', where he states he has spoken with insiders that who state that the release of ET technology would release us from being dependent on energy forms as we know it. No longer will we need oil, coal, nuclear power to relay on for our consumption. And this in turn will overturn the current power and economic structures. Currently, America still retains economic control over the Earth, and this is what defines the power structures on Earth. If everyone had access to free energy, this would completely overturn the current structure, and this has been given as a reason for the secrecy regarding ETs.

We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

And to that, I will quote from former President Reagan, who made the following comments many times:

I’ve often wondered...what if all of us in the world discovered that we were threatened by an outer - a power from outer space, from another planet. Wouldn’t we all of a sudden find that we didn’t have any differences between us at all, we were all human beings, citizens of the world, and wouldn’t we come together to fight that particular threat.

While Reagan was speaking from a perspective of a possible threat from ETs, simply disclosing the existence of ETs will of course produce the same uniting effect. We will no longer perceive ourselves as people of different cultures, but one people sharing the same Earth.

To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

This recalls Podesta's speech during the Clinton administration that the government should disclose informmation regarding ETs because it is the law, as well as those who have gone to extremes to keep the ET secrecy.

Over the next couple of days I want to take certain references from these missives that Obama has recently issued that may point to the end of the UFO Embargo. Obama himself has been full of secrecy regarding the UFO issue, but appointments of certain of his staff leads to possible consideration that he is aware of the issue and working to disclosing.

My fellow citizens:

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We the People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land - a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many.

They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience's sake. And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort - even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES

SUBJECT: Transparency and Open Government

My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.

Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public.

Government should be participatory. Public engagement enhances the Government’s effectiveness and improves the quality of its decisions. Knowledge is widely dispersed in society, and public officials benefit from having access to that dispersed knowledge. Executive departments and agencies should offer Americans increased opportunities to participate in policymaking and to provide their Government with the benefits of their collective expertise and information. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public input on how we can increase and improve opportunities for public participation in Government.

Government should be collaborative. Collaboration actively engages Americans in the work of their Government. Executive departments and agencies should use innovative tools, methods, and systems to cooperate among themselves, across all levels of Government, and with nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individuals in the private sector. Executive departments and agencies should solicit public feedback to assess and improve their level of collaboration and to identify new opportunities for cooperation.

I direct the Chief Technology Officer, in coordination with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Administrator of General Services, to coordinate the development by appropriate executive departments and agencies, within 120 days, of recommendations for an Open Government Directive, to be issued by the Director of OMB, that instructs executive departments and agencies to take specific actions implementing the principles set forth in this memorandum. The independent agencies should comply with the Open Government Directive.

This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by a party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

SUBJECT: Freedom of Information Act

A democracy requires accountability, and accountability requires transparency. As Justice Louis Brandeis wrote, “sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants.” In our democracy, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which encourages accountability through transparency, is the most prominent expression of a profound national commitment to ensuring an open Government. At the heart of that commitment is the idea that accountability is in the interest of the Government and the citizenry alike.

The Freedom of Information Act should be administered with a clear presumption: In the face of doubt, openness prevails. The Government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears. Nondisclosure should never be based on an effort to protect the personal interests of Government officials at the expense of those they are supposed to serve. In responding to requests under the FOIA, executive branch agencies (agencies) should act promptly and in a spirit of cooperation, recognizing that such agencies are servants of the public.

All agencies should adopt a presumption in favor of disclosure, in order to renew their commitment to the principles embodied in FOIA, and to usher in a new era of open Government. The presumption of disclosure should be applied to all decisions involving FOIA.

The presumption of disclosure also means that agencies should take affirmative steps to make information public. They should not wait for specific requests from the public. All agencies should use modern technology to inform citizens about what is known and done by their Government. Disclosure should be timely.

I direct the Attorney General to issue new guidelines governing the FOIA to the heads of executive departments and agencies, reaffirming the commitment to accountability and transparency, and to publish such guidelines in the Federal Register. In doing so, the Attorney General should review FOIA reports produced by the agencies under Executive Order 13392 of December 14, 2005. I also direct the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to update guidance to the agencies to increase and improve information dissemination to the public, including through the use of new technologies, and to publish such guidance in the Federal Register.

This memorandum does not create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

The White House Office of the Press Secretary released a statement outlining the sweeping changes to be implemented by the Obama administration. In his Presidential Memorandum on Transparency and Open Government, and the Presidential Memorandum on the Freedom of Information Act, President Obama instructed

... all members of his administration to operate under principles of openness, transparency and of engaging citizens with their government. To implement these principles and make them concrete, the Memorandum on Transparency instructs three senior officials to produce an Open Government Directive within 120 days directing specific actions to implement the principles in the Memorandum. And the Memorandum on FOIA instructs the Attorney General to in that same time period issue new guidelines to the government implementing those same principles of openness and transparency in the FOIA context.

President Obama emphasized that his Administration “is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government.” He furthermore said in a press conference announcing his Memoranda:

For a long time now, there's been too much secrecy in this city. The old rules said that if there was a defensible argument for not disclosing something to the American people, then it should not be disclosed. That era is now over. Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information but those who seek to make it known.

Obama’s bold initiative for Open Government reflects the influence of the Co-Chair of his Presidential transition team, John Podesta. Podesta has long been an outspoken advocate of Open Government. On September 16, 2008, he gave a speech before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution titled “Too Much Secrecy Puts Our Nation at Risk.” Along with Leon Panetta, the new Director of the CIA, Podesta helped craft the Clinton Administration’s efforts to implement greater government openness through the passage of Executive Order 12958. Passed on April 17 1995, EO 12958 made it easier to declassify national security information that had been unnecessarily classified for decades. The Bush administration later neutralized key sections of EO 12958 thereby making it harder to declassify documents.

Less well known is that in October 22, 2002, Podesta petitioned for the release of UFO files that had been unnecessarily classified. He said: "I think it's time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs.”

President Obama has decided to act quickly and decisively in instructing all adminstration officials to take action to implement principles of Open Government and Transparency. In the case of classified X-Files dealing with evidence of UFOs and extraterrestrial life, Obama’s Memoranda will make it easier for the release of such files in cases where national security is not compromised. The consequences of the release of X-Files of different government agencies and military departments will be momentous if they confirm that extraterrestrial life is visiting Earth.

Clinton has been confirmed as Secretary of State by a vote of 94-2 in the U.S. Senate. Today she began her appointment as the third woman to head the State Department which has a global presence through an extensive network of international embassies and consulates. Its international presence makes it a leading U.S. organization for gathering intelligence on foreign nations. The State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) is responsible for providing accurate intelligence to its diplomatic corps. INR owes its genesis to the Office of Strategic Services, which also spawned the CIA. One area where the State Department’s INR has been collecting intelligence data for well over six decades is UFO activity in other nations.

Hillary Clinton was involved in a confidential effort by Clinton administration officials to gain UFO information from different government agencies. President Clinton, for example, had appointed a mutual family friend, Webster Hubbell, to the U.S. Justice Department find out all he could about UFOs. In a series of FOIA documents acquired by Canadian UFO researcher, Grant Cameron, Hillary Clinton was shown to be a key figure in UFO information provided by billionaire philanthropist, Laurence Rockefeller.

Rockefeller provided a private briefing to the Clintons at his Teton Ranch near Jackson Hole, Wyoming in August 1995. According to Cameron:

"The UFO briefing occurred due to a combination of Rockefeller’s power and determination to bring the problem of UFO secrecy to the President. It was also aided by the President’s interest in UFOs and frustration at not being able to find out what was going on. The President was ready to hear the story and Rockefeller was ready to tell it."

FOIA documents support Cameron’s research into the Clinton’s interest in UFOs. In a Nov 1, 1995 letter to Clinton’s Science advisor, Dr John Gibbons, Rockefeller’s attorney, Henry Diamond, revealed that Hillary Clinton was actually involved in helping draft a letter to the President. . Another letter by Rockefeller himself to Gibbons on Feb 5, 1996, revealed that the Office of Science and Technology was keeping Clinton informed about the UFO discussions.

Cameron’s exhaustive research confirms that Hillary Clinton was the Clinton administration point person for UFO discussions. He wrote: “Hillary time and again spoke of UFOs, UFO sightings, and the concept of the "alien invasion," in her speeches, and in her statements to the press.” Ultimately, the confidential Clinton administration effort to gain UFO information ended with the Lewinsky scandal that overshadowed the final years of the Clinton administration.

As the newly confirmed Secretary of State, Clinton will run an agency with over 30,000 personnel and a budget of more than 35 billion dollars. She will be the nation’s top diplomat and coordinate U.S. diplomacy around the planet. Clinton will have more on her mind, however, than simply running the vast bureaucracy of the U.S. State Department. Salla-Prying Open the CIA’s X-Files

Leon Panetta in his upcoming position as Director of Central Intelligence is expected to be more than just a dependable ally for President-Elect Obama in the tough world of national intelligence. As the former Director of the Office of Management and Budget (1993-1994) and Chief of Staff to President Clinton (1994-1997), Panetta brings much executive office experience and mental toughness. He will need all that and more to force the CIA to disclose its X-Files on UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

The last time a democratic administration recruited an outsider to head the CIA and pry open its secrets resulted in dismal failure. James Woolsey lacked the experience and mental toughness to get the CIA to release its X-Files. Woolsey admitted privately that he had approached the CIA to reveal its secret files on UFOs but was denied access. Woolsey said: "You know, they are treating me like a bag-man, that goes up to Capitol Hill, gets their 30 billion dollars for the intelligence community, and brings it back. You know I really don’t know anything that’s going on that’s sensitive."

Woolsey’s CIA subordinates refused to give him access to UFO information and used many forms of subterfuge to frustrate his efforts. According to one senior national security official, Woolsey “was too trusting, and that made him easy prey. He wasn’t ready for people lying to him when he was loyal to them." Woolsey ultimately failed in getting the CIA to reveal anything more than a sanitized report of public sightings of UFOs released in 1996 that was titled: the "CIA’s Role in the Study of UFOs, 1947-1990."

Panetta’s stint as Clinton’s Chief of Staff indicates that he has the mental toughness to take on a vast intelligence bureaucracy that is skilled in deception, and denying ‘intelligence outsiders’ access to the CIA’s X-Files. Panetta will need to identify key subordinates in the CIA who have the keys to the CIA’s X-Files. Career officers like Stephen Kappes a 27 year agency veteran who became Deputy Director for Operations in 2004, and is currently Deputy Director of the CIA, will undoubtedly have access. Kappes will need to be pressured by Panetta to turn over the keys and disclose what he knows.

A major challenge for Panetta and Obama will be the support for Kappes from Senator Diane Feinstein, the incoming Chair for the Senate Select Committee for Intelligence. Feinstein’s initial support for Kappes promotion to CIA Director suggests that she will be a major Congressional backer of intelligence insiders.

As someone who grew up as a Haoli (Hawaiian term for ‘outsider’) in Honolulu, President Elect Obama understands the need for confronting those within the CIA that wish to deny access to ‘Haolis’ appointed to the CIA. Obama has done very well to appoint an individual with the necessary mental toughness to be the CIA Director and confront the CIA bureaucracy. Panetta is not going to be satisfied in merely being the CIA’s bag man to the U.S. Congress.

Bill Richardson Withdraws from Obama White House

CNN has reported today that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has withdrawn his nomination from consideration as Commerce Sectary post in the Obama White House, citing an investigation relating to some business dealings between business interests and the State of New Mexico.

As we 'hurry up and wait' to see what further turn of events the new administration might take on this issue, I am disappointed to hear of this recent development. Richardson was very forthcoming when I asked him late last year in Austin about his intention to release information about UFOs.
(click here for my article about that). Much speculation has been given regarding what Obama might do regarding the UFO situation with the influence of Richardson and Podesta within his inner circle.

Stephen Bassett of PRG recently distributed the following link. I have not heard the Obama's broadcast, but Bassett has always finds good things on this subject. Bassett has speculated that Spring 2009 may be the date that the Obama White House may be aiming for regarding Disclosure.

I invite readers to read the latest comment from Anonymous below this article. In case anyone else is inspired to get on their soapbox as Anonymous has, I invite you to read my most recent articles which reflect my current changed opinions on the matter. I will post that here in case one is unable to do that for whatever reason.

I wrote this article a year ago when the promise of 'Hope and Change' was in the air. Now that Obama has broken most if not all of his campaign promises, I am further discouraged as to a possible near term anticipated disclosure event with the recent news that Britain has shut down their UFO Disclosure Department. Britain, the Vatican and several other countries were putting pressure on the US towards disclosure. The only reason I can see that Britain would have backpedaled is if the US put pressure on them to do that.

I leave my original article untouched as a memory of the idealism and hope of that short lived era.

Now that the elections are over, the single biggest question is:

Will Barak Obama be the UFO Disclosure President?

Much speculation has been offered as to the pros and cons of this possibility. With John Podesta joining Obama’s team, it certainly seems that the foundation is there should such an effort be taken, as Podesta's interest in UFOs is no secret. But so much has already been made of these and of other indicators, perhaps another equally important observation may have been completely overlooked.

Within forty years, we have gone from an intensely racial society to one that would elect a Black individual to be the President of the United States. We have gone from a society where the White man has been ‘the man’ to one where the white man is no longer ‘the man.’ Obama has walked through that previously blocked door. Now, the US is no longer a white man’s world. It is one step closer to being everyone’s world. If nothing else positive has come out of the last eight years but the realization that the status quo is no longer acceptable, then it will all have been worth everything else our country had to go through to get to that point.

That Obama has won the election is a huge historical event, and this translates also to a huge step for the ET Disclosure process.

If the citizens of the world are going to put aside fears and prejudices and accept races from beyond Earth, we must be able to overcome these same differences within our own world. We must become less of a collection of people from different lineages, and become a truly united people of the Earth.

Obama’s victory represents a major healing of the wounds that we have in this country. Not that all is now perfect. Far from it. But the people of the United States have proven that we can join together and look deeper than our superficial differences. Contrary to comments made many years ago by President Reagan, we don’t need an extraterrestrial threat to unite the people of our broken world.

The whole Earth will someday unite in peace, one with another, and as an ‘us’, together with whoever is out there.

ABC News Questions Sanity of Astronauts Who Have Gone Into Space-95% Of Article Comments Disagree

It's been 38 years since NASA went to the moon. Dr. Edgar Mitchell was the last to go. Ever since he has come back he has been saying that ETs are here and have visited the Earth, but it was only a couple of weeks ago that anyone took any notice.

Now, ABC News makes the argument that going into space can make you crazy. What is their evidence from the below article?

I would contend that the astronauts know something, a lot of things we don't, and 95% of the comments posted on the article disagree that there is anything wrong with the astronauts.

(Those experiments, by the way, were successful.)

ABC News did not quote Neil Armstrong, who made these prepared remarks at a NASA conference a few years ago:

"...we have only completed a beginning; we leave you much that is undone... there are... breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of truth's protective layers. There are places to go beyond belief..."

What is 'truth's protective layers' that Armstrong is referring to?

Is it NASA's denial that what Mitchell says is true?

"NASA does not track UFOs. Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinion on this issue."

Is it really all that naive to believe the astronauts just because they say it's true, or is it naive to believe NASA just because they say it's not true?

In most arenas the astronauts would be consider courageous whistle blowers. ABC News suggests it's insanity.

Of the more than 6 billion people in the world, only 12 have ever set foot on the moon, providing them the unique opportunity to peer at the Earth from hundreds of thousands of miles away.

For many, the experience appears to have changed them. The select group has returned to regular life and dispersed into a wide array of careers, spiritual and philosophical leanings, and apparent perceptions of the world they temporarily gazed at from space.

Most recently, NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell, a member of the Apollo 14 mission that landed on the moon in 1971, elaborated on his own fluid thoughts on the universe, arguing that alien visits to Earth have been covered up by governments for more than 60 years.

"I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomenon is real," Mitchell said on Britain's Kerrang Radio last week.

"It has been covered up by governments for quite some time now," added Mitchell, who grew up in Roswell, N.M., the location of the controversial 1947 incident in which some believe the U.S. military covered up the crash scene of an alien spacecraft.
Other moon-walkers have admitted to changing after being launched into outer space -- some becoming more open-minded about the possibility of extraterrestrial life, others more spiritual, and some choosing to change career paths all together.

Alan Bean, who flew the second moon landing on Apollo 12 in 1967, became a painter after returning to Earth.

Speaking in British filmmaker David Signton's 2007 documentary "In the Shadow of the Moon," astronaut Gene Cernan, who made the last moon-landing in 1972, said he became a believer in the idea of a greater power after traveling to outer space.

"I felt that the world was just too beautiful to have happened by . There has to be something bigger than you and bigger than me," said Cernan in the documentary.
"And I mean this in a spiritual sense, not a religious sense," said Cernan. "There has to be a creator of the universe who stands above the religions that we ourselves create to govern our lives."

Perhaps the saddest transformation was that of Buzz Aldrin, who made the first moon landing with Neil Armstrong in 1969, and later suffered from severe depression and alcoholism, both of which he wrote about extensively in his memoir "Return to Earth."
Space historians and other former astronauts told ABCNews.com that while Mitchell's case may be extreme, those who travel into the galaxy sometimes return with an altered view of the universe -- and perhaps even about its inhabitants.

Do Space Travels Change Astronauts?
"There is some evidence that astronauts are changed by going into space," said Mike Neufeld, the chair of the space history division at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Neufeld noted that while Mitchell's beliefs in extra-terrestrial life have certainly come to light over the years, the former moon-walker had always been interested in the paranormal.

"He was interested in ESP before he was ever launched -- he conducted an ESP experiment on Apollo 14," said Neufeld.

Calls and e-mails sent to Mitchell by ABCNews.com were not immediately returned.
"There's nothing negative you can say about Mitchell or his Apollo 14 mission," said Neufeld. "But his involvement with ESP and his work since has always made him some sort of an outsider."

NASA's response to Mitchell's claims have been limited. "NASA is not involved in any sort of cover-up about alien life on this planet or anywhere else in the universe," NASA Headquarters spokesman David Steitz said today. "Dr. Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue."

'Things Pale in Comparison'
Former astronaut John Herrington, who made three space walks in 2002 on the last space shuttle mission before the Columbia, told ABCNews.com that his experience as an astronaut definitely affected his perspective on the universe.

"You see the world from a different perspective -- you have a much grander view," said Herrington. "It does fundamentally change the way you look at the world."
Herrington said that he can also understand the depression that some encounter upon arriving back on earth.

"In anything that you put an incredible amount of effort into, a lot of times you come back from it and things pale in comparison," said Herrington. "There's a little depression, a little let-down."

"You worked hard and now the experience is over," added Herrington.
For Mitchell, the four decades back on Earth have done nothing to sway his belief in extraterrestrial life among the stars.

"There's not much question at all that there's life throughout the universe -- we're not alone in the universe at all," he said last week. "It is a real phenomenon."

If an American hero who has been to space says there are UFOs and the government is covering it up, and he is not the only astronaut saying this, then I would tend to believe him over anything NASA might have to say about it.

God's Grace and Glory Is Revealed in the Shortcomings of this World

Ever since reading Stephen Greer's 'Hidden Truth' I have been in some despair regarding decisions our country has taken.

If what Dr. Greer is saying is true, which is based on hundreds of witness testimony, the release of recovered ET technology would give everybody access to non-polluting energy in which to fuel our car and cool and heat our homes. Not only this, but it would balance the imbalance of power throughout the world and people of every country would have the same opportunities that we have here in America.

That last part has caused me great concern, that we have not been good caretakers in this world.

There is a country called Kajikistan. I may not be spelling it right, so forgive me. Many people refer to this country when they are thinking of a place very far away.

Kajikistan is a very poor country near Russia. The country is so poor that they cannot afford to heat their homes in the winter, and anyone familiar with that part of the world knows it gets very cold during that time of year.

A fried of mine, Patricia recently went on a missions trip to Kajikistan. She told me that this past winter, people died because they could not keep warm. Their country does have a power plant, but they have to pay for the power because of their indebtedness to another country. They can't afford to pay for power in the winter. because many people are so poor, and many of their men have abandoned their families to seek greater wealth in nearby countries.

They sew on hand ed sewing machines. Like many other Third World countries, Kajikistan families live large numbers in very small houses, not fit for 3 people.

It is situations that take me back to my opening statement that situations like this and others could be completely eliminated if only worldwide greed did not take primary importance over the well being of people.

This and many other similar stories around the world point back to this concern, and I feel almost a fear when I realize that our country has not been good stewards of the gifts we have been given.

Any little aid that we might give would seem only a drop in the bucket until the larger problem is addressed-the balance of power throughout the world.

However, and this may not be the end all answer, but an answer I did receive:

In some ways it seems an unfair answer. It certainly does not excuse our inability to share or to help. But we change what we can and accept what we cannot. We work with what have to work with and know that...

War of the Worlds on ABC Tonight

I usually don't watch much TV, but I am currently cat sitting for my landlord Ann, and she just bought a wall mounted 27" Samsung TV. So tonight while I was over there, I was flipping channels, and wouldn't you know that on Galactic Freedom Day they were playing 'War of the Worlds', the one with Tom Cruise.

This is the one with the evil aliens that come and blow up cities and kill people.

I thought it was pretty interesting it was on, given how much the good/evil alien thing has been going on this week and how last month Larry King did all those UFO shows-was it three?

Dr. Carol Rosin would be a good insert here. I have discussed her before on this blog. She was Dr. Werner Von Braun's spokesperson towards the end of his life.

Here is a quote from her Disclosure Project interview:

The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it. Asteroids- against asteroids we are going to build space-based weapons.

And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. "And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. So when I see this movie and I consider Dr. Rosin's testimony, among others who are stating similar things, and then I consider that today at, 8/08/08, at 8:00 PM Universal Time was Galactic Freedom Day where people were putting forth an intention to end ET/Government secrets, and then a beautiful '8' shows up right in the middle of crop circle central on this very day....

Do you see those dots in the middle of the eight? Those are people. This thing is huge. I'm not saying the ETs made these. If someone on Earth is making these, they have yet to explain how they are doing it, and they have never been caught. It would take days to make one of these things. If it is ETs, would any ET that would desire to destroy our Earth make such beautiful creations???

Richard Dolan: UFOs and the National Security State, Volume I

Richard Dolan comes from an immense historical/political background. According to his bio, he holds an MA in History from the University of Rochester and a BA in History from Alfred University. He earned a Certificate in Political Theory from Oxford University and was a Rhodes Scholar finalist. Prior to his interest in anomalous phenomena, Dolan studied US Cold War strategy, Soviet history, and international diplomacy.

It follows then that his book is an exhaustive study of known UFO reports from 1946-1973. A reading of this book will inform anyone interested in knowing most all of the history there is to know about UFOs and issues facing the most powerful government in the world, the United States.

Dolan primarily focuses on the UFO issue, but he also discusses other controversial issues in American history-CIA mind control experiments, Hoover, Kennedy, Russia, the underground workings of the CIA-these are important because they prove that the government is not be beyond keeping secrets and using undercover methods.

A very important thread is the leading up to, the politics involved in and the closing of Project Bluebook and the Condon Report. Dolan is a master of a minute detail and the bigger historical picture.

He also shows how a citizen UFO group came to power and was nearly effective in UFO disclosure, before its demise due to possible CIA infiltration.

The book is complete with Table of Miltary UFO encounters for the years presented and something many UFO books don't have-an index.

The only problem that I had was from his concluding statement, ‘we must be willing to consider [the ET] presence as a threat’.

This conclusion is not so well built. True, Dolan does go into cattle mutilations and abductions, but by Dolan’s account the first such report did not occur until 1953, six years after the recovery of the disk in Roswell and no doubt others. With overwhelming proof that the CIA would act against it's own citizens, it stands to reason from the book itself they would do it with any technology available to them-yet the possibility that back-engineered UFO technology may have been developed by the US is not addressed here beyond the likely acquisition of such technology at Roswell in 1947.

This point is a controversial issue in the UFO community and and we may never know the real answer until contact has been made with these beings. Yet, from interviews and other media the idea of evil aliens is something that is of great concern to Dolan and a subject he is passionate about.

Despite my misgiving with that particular issue, Dolan’s book is still very much a winner and should be in every UFO researcher’s collection. I can't wait for Volumes II and III.

Galactic Freedom Day

It seems that in the past 24 hours there has been a misunderstanding of the purpose of the upcoming Galactic Freedom Day.

Following is a quote from the Galactic Freedom Day website:

A world wide positive intention experiment will be conducted at 8 pm (Universal Time) 08/08/08 to put an end to secret agreements that have prevented the revolutionary technology and knowledge of extraterrestrial life entering mainstream society. A Galactic Freedom Day Declaration has been issued by cooperating citizen organizations clearly expressing humanity's intent to put an end to secret agreements concerning extraterrestrial life.

Recently Dr. Salla wrote a statement on Alfred Webre's site exopoltics.com putting forth evidence of aliens currently in secret agreements with certain world leaders.

This has touched off a small debate accusing Galactic Freedom Day to be about evil aliens intent on destroying Earth.

I for one don't subscribe to that idea, but whether ETs are good or bad is really not the issue at the center of Galactic Freedom Day, nor does Galactic Freedom Day hold an opinion one way or the other, and the quote posted at the top of their website says as much.

Following is a comment I posted this AM at exopoltics.com in an attempt to clarify the issue.

My Earth Brothers and Sisters,

It is of no use to turn Galactic Freedom Day into a platform of whether ETs are good or bad. This no doubt is a large issue within the UFO community, and is an argument without end, at least until all is finally revealed.

The only purpose of Galactic Freedom Day is to direct focused positive energy in breaking secret bonds with respect to ETs.

If there are secret agreements with ETs and NWO humans, would we not want these to be broken?

If you do not believe that there are such agreements, then please direct your positive energy toward breaking the government secrecy surrounding UFOs.

Galactic Freedom Day neither promotes one belief over the other. It welcomes brothers and sisters of all beliefs, creeds and religions to send positive energy to break these secret bonds, whatever you may believe these to be. Participation does not obligate anyone to adopt the same beliefs with those who may think differently about this divisive issue.

Therefore, let us put down our armaments for one moment and unite in the common goal of ending the truth embargo on UFOs. We are each of us members of one planet and we need each other as we get closer to re joining the rest of the Galactic Community.

Book Review: Alfred Webre ‘Exopolitics: Politics, Government and Law in the Universe'

Richard Dolan and Alfred Webre are serious forces to be dealt with in the area of the study of extra-terrestrial life. And though both of their books are not new-Dolan’s ‘UFOs and the National Security State’(2000) and Webre’s ‘Exopolitics: Politics, Government and Law in the Universe'(2000), they are important enough books that should return now and again to the radar screen.

I am posting Webre's book review today and will post Dolan's book review tomorrow.

Webre’s ‘Exopolitics: Politics, Government and Law in the Universe' is a treatise on the ‘state of the union’ and hypothesis concerning the relationship between humans and ETs.

The term ‘exopolitics’ itself has recently been taking a beating, recently being deleted from Wikipedia’s listings, even though it was voted ‘Word of the Year’ for 2006 by the Associated Press. Whereas Political Science is the study of terrestrial politics, exopolitics is the study of the politics and relations between people on Earth and ETs. For Webre, exopolitics is not just a study but also a of understanding the situation that we find ourselves in regard to this issue.

One of the reasons that I picked up Webre’s book is that I find all too often he is lumped in with other researchers who state that ETs are bad for humans. This may be because of Webre's associations with some researchers that hold stronger opinions in this area than he does. One of the reasons that I respect Webre is that he 'plays well with others.' Webre sees the greater importance of the unity of the UFO community, even if he may not agree completely with his colleagues. His focus appears to be in exposing and breaking the government secrecy around the ET issue and entering a more enlightened time, rather than starting petty and endless battles of wills. So I wanted to see where he stood on these issues.

I don’t see the 'evil alien' belief reflecting in Webre’s book. He states that some UFOs may be ‘ours’-craft piloted by humans created from back-engineering recovered UFOs, or that they may be ‘theirs’ and piloted by 'them'. As you read this book or listen to his Exopolitics Radio Show, this is a theme that returns again and again in Webre's interpretation of continuing unfolding UFO events. In fact, in Chapter 11, entitled 'The Information War and "Alien Abductions"'(double quotes are Webre's), he states:

'When secrecy has failed, a secret terrestrial command-and-control network has resorted to misinformation, out right lies, and black propaganda about UFO sightings. Terrestrial commandos have also undertaken disinformation operations against the civilian population, such as the MILABs, the fake alien abductions staged by the military to portray the extraterrestrial presence as hositle or colonizing in nature'.

Without attempting to reveal the whole of the book, Webre states that Earth has been quarantined for quite some time from the rest of the Galactic hierarchy, and even that perhaps the story in the Bible from the book of Genesis describing the fall of man may be a story that hints at the event and cause of this separation. In fact, when the Vatican recently came out with the statement that belief in life forms from beyond this Earth does not conflict with Christianity, they also hypothesized that perhaps ETs are without such original sin. This would account for the advanced technology that would have brought them here.

Webre also suggests that while Earth may be quarantined, he observes it is a ‘leaky quarantine’ and it may be that ETs are preparing to reintegrate Earth into the hierarchal Galactic community. Webre offers a preparation that Earth can take to prepare humanity for this transition, although he notes that our leaders have opposed this thus far. Webre warns of the need for this reintegration and a departure from the paths our world is heading toward, and that it may be ETs that are here to help us do that.

Another interesting point that Webre brings out in the book are the idea that UFO sightings maybe multidimensional communication devices, such as mandalas. Webre also refers to this as the ET Context Communication Theory. Though not mentioned on the book, Webre was the first to note that the Chicago O'Hare UFO sighting was on the same day that the Democrats took over the House in the general election, and further, that Obama and Clinton are both from Chicago.

I found this book to be a good companion book to Dr. Stephen Greer's 'Hidden Truth' and if you enjoyed this book but maybe were a more than a little bit concerned about our future, Webre balances this out with concrete steps to take to move closer to that end.

Books such as these certainly test our limits of the believable, but it is certainly worthwhile to consider Webre’s line of thought about this important issue.

'The US Department of Media'

Last Friday one of two things indisputably happened. Either a dozen senior Congress members and several well-known expert witnesses went certifiably and collectively insane, or charges of the most extreme executive abuses of power ever heard in the history of this nation were backed up by overwhelming evidence during a six-hour hearing of the House Judiciary Committee focused on the possible need to impeach the President and the Vice President. Either way, a nation with a public communications system worthy of a democracy would have learned the news.

What we actually have in this country is a news media conglomerate that functions as a part of the executive branch of the federal government. Call it the United States Department of Media. But "branch" is not the right word, since the executive branch is all that remains of our government (aside from whatever Dick Cheney is). The legislative and judicial branches have been eliminated. Or, rather, they are constantly and effectively being shut out of the government, in no small part by the Media Department. But "department," too, is not the right word if one imagines any degree of independent decision making. None of the so-called departments and agencies in the executive government are any longer empowered to make significant decisions independent of the president (and whatever Dick Cheney is). And the Media Department is no exception.

One project of the U.S. Department of Media is the Cover Nothing Network (CNN) on which associate deputy undersecretaries of Media Campbell Brown and Erica Hill reported on Friday that there is not enough time for impeachment and that if the Democrats led the way to impeachment voters would punish them, and that therefore the hearing was a waste of money that could have been better spent publicizing the president kissing babies. Now, you'd think the Democrats would get credit for successfully violating the laws of physics by impeaching Bush and Cheney after CNN reported that there was not sufficient time to do so. Instead, CNN preemptively reports that instead of a Nobel prize in physics, Democrats would receive opposition from voters if they were to impeach Bush or Cheney, quite regardless of the supposed fact that there is not time to do so. Presumably it is part of CNN's passion for saving money that allows it to employ public officials too stupid to even realize they've done no research whatsoever that might provide them with the slightest clue as to whether or not what they are saying is complete horseshit.

Yet, most of the other state broadcast and cable and print outlets did even better at avoiding the news by reporting nothing at all. That fine performance didn't cost us a dime, and was worth every penny. But what did we miss?

Well, we missed the fact that the president now violates numerous laws and announces his intention to do so with "signing statements." This is absolutely unprecedented and indisputably a major violation of the basic outline of the U.S. Constitution. We missed that the current president has violated numerous requests, subpoenas, and contempt citations, effectively shutting down the Congress as a body with any right to control our government or even to know what our government is doing. We missed that this is completely unprecedented and a major violation of the basic system established by the Constitution, and that when Richard Nixon moved in the direction that this president has gone so far in, the Judiciary Committee voted to impeach Nixon. We missed that the current president has openly confessed to violating the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and that in this and numerous other cases impeachments of Bush and Cheney could be accomplished in under an hour, all the necessary information already being in the public domain.

That is to say, either we missed THAT and much more, or we missed witnessing the mass hypnosis of John Conyers, Hank Johnson, Bruce Fein, Tammy Baldwin, Vincent Bugliosi, Maurice Hinchey, Dennis Kucinich, Robert Wexler, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Liz Holtzman, Rocky Anderson, Elliott Adams, Bob Barr, Bobby Scott, Zoe Lofgren, Jerrold Nadler, and several other individuals, together with dozens of members of the public in the same room and hundreds more outside. Don't we have a right to know what happened? Who hypnotized them and why? How was it done? Who funded it? And is it possible that what actually occurred on Friday was a long-standing hypnosis wearing off momentarily? How will we ever know? And if we ourselves look at the White House website and appear to see numerous signing statements declaring the right to violate laws, and numerous public refusals to comply with subpoenas, are we going insane too? Are we falling into some sort of delusion? Are we secretly exploding with repressed anger and hatred for bibles, guns, and flags? And why do we our country so much?

Edgar Mitchell and the American Press-Better Late Than Never

I was pleasantly surprised by Fox's treatment of this recent news on their morning show. They treated it with uncharacteristic respect by acknowledging the importance of the issue.

MSNBC's coverage was short but I can't really say sweet. They had to do something because of the pressure of the European press, but they did as little as possible, and they were able to do this one in less than 1 minute.

Edgar Mitchell: They Are Here

Within the last couple of days Edgar Mitchell, one of the last men on the moon has come forward stating that ETs have been here and have made contact and that the government has been covering it up. Reports state that his latest admission on Kerrang radio visibly shocked the show host.

One of my coworkers who knows of my interest in this found an article about this today and brought it to my attention. I told him that yes, there has been quite a bit of media attention this month, with the Larry King Show which so far has featured UFOs every Friday night in July.

Also, the Vatican's recent announcement and the release of files from France and England have proved significant.

Though this is not the first time that Mitchell has made such statements, the public airing of his comments lends a lot of viability to the public opinion of this issue. Sometimes these guys kind of laugh at me about this stuff, but today, I could see that they were now considering this as a much more serious topic.

By the way, in case the Brooking Institution asks, my coworkers did not panic nor attempt to throw themselves out of the building.

In fact one of them stated that they already suspected that ETs probably exist. According to polls, a high majority of Americans agree with this opinion.

Stephen Bassett of Paradigm Research, the only UFO lobbyist has observed that the rest of the world is very exciting about this news, but no word yet from the American press. Bassett hopes that the world press will give no choice to the Americans but to broadcast this as well.

Many of us in the UFO field are not high visibility researchers like Alfred Webre, Grant Cameron, Stephen Bassett, Steven Greer and many, many others.

But the rest of us are in the workplace, and Mitchell's comments give weight to an issue that we no longer need to be afraid of to share with those we know.

Let's use this as an opportunity to encourage these ideals, rather than snide remarks such as 'I told you so' or 'You just now figuring this out?'

Let's use this as an opening to continue to gently and lovingly bring this truth to the rest of our Earth brothers and sisters and work with and be a part of the disclosure process that is unfolding.

Washington, DC - Apollo 14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell (PhD MIT) has once again stated clearly that high ranking civilian and military officials have over the years confirmed to him the UFO phenomenon in part is the consequence of a non-human intelligence engaging the planet earth and the human race. Further, he confirmed an extraterrestrial vehicle crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 placing in the hands of the U. S. Government potentially transformative technology.

These reassertions were made on a July 4, 2008 CNN Larry King Live program. As usual, the American media did not find this newsworthy and there was little follow-up coverage.

However, when he repeated and expanded his remarks on a London radio station on July 23, the result was an explosion of international coverage which will almost certainly spill back into the United States.

There are scores of military and civilian agency witnesses ready to testify under oath before a congressional hearing and reveal the most important information in human history to a public that no longer believes anything the U. UFOS: Why Stephenville?

A coworker told me this morning that he heard a report over a popular morning radio show in Austin that there was another sighting of UFOs over Stephenville last night. My coworker states the report says the UFOs were headed toward Crawford, TX, location of the 'Texas White House'. I was unable to corroborate this report with any other recent reports.

Recently, many sources, such as the Ft. Worth Star Telegram have been reporting the latest news from the Larry King show that aired this past Friday. Recently obtained radar tracking data obtained from the FAA under the Freedom of Information Act shows that craft activity did indeed occur over Stephenville on January 8, 2008, and that no military craft were present.

The great grandson of the last owner of the Foster Ranch was recently interviewed by the Open Minds Forum. You can listen to that interview here.

The Foster Ranch was where the 1947 Roswell Crash took place.

The recording didn't shine any new information on the incident-according to the great grandson's uncle, ranch hands employed at the time saw the downed craft and knew it was not a weather balloon. The Foster family sold the ranch in the mid 1950s specifically to remove themselves from any connection with the Roswell incident.

The recording did bring to my attention the fact that this great grandson lives in Stephenville, TX. Many people are are speculating that perhaps the UFO activity in Stephenville may have been meant to bring attention to this very fact.

I have another speculation. Please reference the following map, where point 'A' marks Crawford, TX:

The report described something that was headed toward Crawford, TX which was traveling at 2000 mph. If the military were to allow itself to be seen chasing these mysterious craft, that would give quite a bit of credibility to these UFOs. The military has stated over and over that UFOs don't exist. You can't 'chase' something that doesn't exist, right? And the ETs are choosing Crawford as an obvious target that the military would be interested in protecting. But the ETs are not interested in 'attacking' Crawford, and this is important, too. These displays, as far as the ETs are concerned, are simply for exposure and to draw the military out for a chase over populated areas.

The ETs, being the intelligent beings that they are, have picked carefully and intentionally their approach to Crawford from Stephenville. This is the safest and most populated city from which to make their approach to Crawford and the ETs will most likely be able to be seen by the most amount of people.

Abilene is near a major military base and therefore may be unwise for the ETs to approach from that direction. In Forth Worth the sky is not as visible from the ground due to an over abundance of city lights. Waco and Temple are not quite far enough away from Stephenville to make an impressive 2000 mph directional flight overflight towards Crawford.

Stephenville is just right. It is populated with more rural people that would be more apt to 'look up' in the sky at night. People in the city just generally aren't out that much at night to be in a position to observe such a thing.

Phoenix was different kind of sighting, in that the sightings were over a longer amount of time and the craft moved much more slowly and closer to the ground. But the strategy was the same. The military can't chase what doesn't exist over populated areas.

So much of what our military knows about ETs is kept in the dark, away from prying eyes. Stephenville represents a way to bring the UFO secret into the light. Will our government someday be able to respond?

My Conversation With An Iraqi Citizen

On the internet today I had a a messenger chat with a young married male claiming to be an Iraqi citizen. I guess anyone can claim to be who they are or where they are, but I just wanted to post this because I thought it offered an unusual perspective of the US presence in Iraq. He gave me permission to use this, I agreed to keep it anonymous. He was chatting with multiple people and sometimes he would chat in Iraqi to me by mistake.

Retired Air Force Robert Salas was in charge of an underground control center for nuclear warheads and witnessed along with the surface security UFOs knock off line all of their nuclear missles. Off line means they were not in a status in which they could be launched, and it was several hours before they came back online.

Censorship Rides Again - Wikipression

Media have the right to print what they want. When they choose to not write about an issue you hold dear, that is not censorship, that's First Amendment free speech. If they write about it poorly, it's not censorship, it's incompetence. Now if a third party, say the government, tells media what and how to cover an issue, THAT's censorship. As it happens the Internet has created global constructs which billions of people are sourcing. This creates new realms for censorship to manifest. Two examples involving PRG:

First Google deletes/blocks pages from the top of search results, now after two years an Administrator at Wikipedia has removed the "Exopolitics" article from the online "people's" encyclopedia. This from a publication with huge articles on Britney Spears, the Incredible Hulk and Mr. Ed (the talking horse). Efforts to get the article reinstated were rebuffed, and essentially impossible, given the absurd complexity of the process.

Wikipedia is a powerful concept. Six percent of all netizens use it. It draws upon the collective intellectual resource to create something with huge potential. Sadly, in order to deal with attendant issues such as inaccuracy, vandalism and malicious intent, operationally it has become an impenetrable, incomprehensible labyrinth populated by crypto- t geeks who rule over imaginary fiefdoms while hiding behind screen names.

The Administrator/CFG in this instance who deleted the "Exopolitics" article goes by the screen name "Sandstein." His home in Wikiworld is located at:

He has no knowledge of exopolitics, its history or the attendant issues and his "decision" was derived from a mock consensus of a few other CFG's who know even less - a rationale based upon the premise that collective ignorance is somehow smarter than individual ignorance - a case of the arrogant leading the blind.

Google deletes the Open Letter to Senator Hillary Clinton web pages at or near the top of the search results going into the key Indiana and North Carolina primary elections, which miraculously reappear a few days after the elections are over. Now Wikipedia has deleted the "Exopolitics" article which had been in place for over three years.

Every time this kind censorship by non-governmental entities takes place PRG is going to point it out and name names. The Truth Embargo remains in place because people and organizations not only believe the government's propaganda, they step up to help enforce it.

Neither government suppression nor censorship by the likes of Google or Wikipedia will prevent the inculcation of exopolitics into the mainstream or the end to the Truth Embargo. PRG regrets the passing of Robert Bletchman. Bob was the public relations director for MUFON and an advisor to CUFOS. He organized symposia at the United Nations to advance the subject of UFO's and taught an education class on UFO phenomena. Bob was an activist and helped to develop the idea of UFO state ballot initiatives ten years ago along with Larry Bryant and Bruce Widaman.

He did not live long enough to witness the end of the Truth Embargo, but he helped bring it about. Our thoughts go out to his family.

Like the Exopolitics World Network (EWN), the EUSN will be a network of websites (which may or may not have organizations attached), one per state, which track exopolitical developments within each state, link to other exopolitical sites and whatever else the webmaster wishes to engage.

Like the EWN it is all volunteer. The only criteria required for listing on the EUSN central hub is an URL and naming protocol, i.e., www.exopoliticsmontana.us Exopolitics - Montana, www.exopoliticscalifornia.us Exopolitics - California, www.exopoliticsmissouri.us Exopolitics - Missouri.

The websites for Arizona, Florida and Georgia are in development.

PRG is looking for webmasters to create sites in the other 47 states and the District of Columbia. Preferably you are a resident of the state in question, can create a website, have some knowledge of UFO/ET issues and history. It would be your URL, your site and your project. Others who are interested but can't create a website may want to help out and will be referred to the webmaster for that state.

Only a few nations are large enough for such an intranet. They include Canada, China, India, Australia and Russia. PRG will not attempt to create intranets for those countries, but hopes others will and will use similar URL and naming protocols.

The goal is simple: to create as quickly and inexpensively as a possible a powerful presence on the Internet search returns for "Exopolitics" and build a worldwide movement to end the Truth Embargo.

Bush Impeachment: We've Got To Do Something Different This Time

If we're going to get Bush impeached, we've got to do something different this time.

If nothing else, this Presidential race is starting to bring more and more Democrats out of the closet and into action. Hopefully the Presidential chaos that we have created will do the same thing.

We failed to impeach Cheney. So we can't do the same things we did last time and hope to get the same results.

It's going to be a much stronger and better organized grassroots effort. Last time, many sent emails to Congress and everyone else, and signed petitions, and it didn't work. We need to show a more passionate display of approval. And we've got good motivation to do this. The last numbers I've heard are that 600,000 Iraqis have died since the beginning of the war. And thousands of soldiers have died from this and other countries. Needlessly. Needlessly.

I don't know why every city in the country is not staging a protest every weekend. I don't why more peace vigils are being held. I believe it's because we are lulled into thinking that internet activism is going to get it done. But it's has not been working. It needs to be that plus more. The activists didn't let Vietnam get as far as we have let Iraq get. They were out there in the parks getting tear gassed and sprayed, and this is what we need to do, now.

I do know why I am sitting here at my computer trying to write an impassioned plea to call people into action. I feel frustrated and powerless to make any significant change in our country and that's not what a democracy is supposed to be about, but it is what the USA has become. I've had enough of it, and the people I'm writing to have too.

Let's get up from behind our computer monitor and get to work.

The Video of Peckman on Letterman

You've been looking for it, you've been asking about it.

Here it is.

I think why this struck me as this being a positive happening is that Letterman appears to be asking Peckman leading questions, as if he was trying to 'help' Peckman get his message out. With the audience on his side, Letterman could have been way more merciless with Peckman than he was. At the end, notice how Peckman emphasizes the benevolence of the ETs. The audience starts to laugh, but Letterman subtly redirects the audience and they end up applauding this statement. That, my friends sent chills down my spine. And the 'kook' comment-the audience starts to laugh, but Letterman reigns it back in. My overall assessment is that Letterman was helping, and I believe the following video will bear this out.

The interview certainly exceeded my expectations.

Bob Fertik: House Sends Impeachment to John Conyers

By a bipartisan vote of 251-166, the full House of Representatives sent Dennis Kucinich's 35 Articles of Impeachment to the Judiciary Committee.

That means Chairman John Conyers now has the power to decide whether to hold impeachment hearings - or not.

Incredibly, 24 Republicans voted with 227 Democrats; the 166 no votes came exclusively from Republicans.

So what will Conyers do? After the Downing Street Memo was published on May 1, 2005, Democrats.com worked closely with Conyers to hold the famous basement hearings featuring Cindy Sheehan, Ray McGovern, and John Bonifaz. In August 2006, Conyers published all of the evidence of Bush's crimes in The Constitution in Crisis. Many of us believed he would begin impeachment proceedings if Democrats won the House, which they did that November.

But in the spring of 2006, Nancy Pelosi declared impeachment "off the table." And when Democrats took control and Conyers was sworn in as Judiciary Chairman, he fell firmly into line behind the Speaker. (Conyers insists Pelosi did not threaten to deny him the Chairmanship.)

Since 2005, Conyers has received millions of impeachment petitions. Hundreds if not thousands of activists have spoken to him personally. But he remains adamantly opposed to hearings, for one simple reason: he fears it will hurt the Democratic candidate for President (now Barack Obama) in November.

Of course there isn't one scintilla of evidence to support Conyers' fear. It is based entirely on the 1998 election, when Newt Gingrich turned the Starr Report (published online on September 9) into a campaign issue but lost a small number of seats by overplaying the issue in TV ads. Despite those small losses, Republicans held the majority and voted to impeach Clinton six weeks after the election, on December 19. And two years later, despite a massively unpopular impeachment, Republican George Bush got close enough to Al Gore to steal the election. And one reason it was close was that Democrats believed impeachment made Clinton too "toxic" to campaign even in Arkansas, which would have put Gore over the top in the Electoral College even without Florida.

And there is no comparison between impeaching Clinton for consensual and impeaching Bush for 35 High Crimes, including a disastrous war of aggression based on lies. And the difference is reflected in polls - only 26% of Americans wanted to impeach Clinton in 1998, while 43% of Americans wanted to impeach Bush in our last poll on July 8, 2007. (The Corporate Media adamantly refuses to ask about impeachment in their own polls. You can email all the pollsters here.)

So the election fear that has paralyzed Conyers and the Democrats isn't just baseless, it's idiotic. Bush's polls are now lower than Richard Nixon's ever were. The American people are sick of Bush and can't wait to get rid of him.

Here at Democrats.com, we will continue to do everything we can to persuade Conyers and every other House Democrat to support impeachment. To be effective, we need your support - emails, calls, and especially local organizing.

Now that Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment are before the House Judiciary Committee, the battle is just beginning. And Kucinich feels exactly the same way:

"Leadership wants to bury it, but this is one resolution that will be coming back from the ," Kucinich told Capitol Briefing. "Thirty days from now, if there is no action, I will be bringing the resolution up again, and I won't be the only one reading it."

Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.) has not commented on whether he plans to hold hearings, and Kucinich said he would meet with Conyers this week to present him with documentation for his charges against Bush. But if there is no further action, Kucinich said, "We'll come back and many of us will be reading this [on the House floor], and we'll come back with 60 articles, not 35."

The intro material was pretty ridiculous, but the actual interview was a real win. Peckman related the importance of ETs to the answer to energy concerns, brought up the 500 witnesses connected with the Disclosure Project. Also gave reason for cover up is to protect the oil companies. Positioned ETs as benevolent.

The interview as it appears below is not meant to be a transcript, but it should give a good snapshot of how the interview played out.

This is probably the first time on a national media show that the whole ET issue along with its full implications has been fully discussed.

It was a good step in helping to prepare people who are unfamiliar with the issue for the reality of the ET presence.

After I posted this article a reader observed that Letterman cut Peckman off before Peckman ever mentioned the Extra Campaign; a Denver initiative to put on the November ballot for Denver voters to establish an Extra Terrestrial Affairs Committee.

In Spring 1982, the Canadian band Rush was invited to watch the Columbia Space Shuttle launch. Drummer and band lyricist was inspired to then write the words to 'Countdown' which was released on Rush's Signals album in September 1982 release.

I've heard bassist Geddy Lee say in interviews that they felt the song didn't work, that it was too much a 'thesis'. It's a great song accompanied by a great video with NASA video included.

A Denver resident, Jeff Peckman, is attempting place a ballot initiative into the November election calling for an ordinance to create an 18-member Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. According to the proposal, the 18-member ET commission would "create a responsible, common-sense strategy for dealing with issues related to the presence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth," among other tasks. "The evidence is irrefutable that there are extraterrestrials that have visited earth frequently," said Peckman, who believes the government is covering up encounters.

Peckman's effort is reminiscent of state ballot initiatives in 1999 and 2000 in Arizona and Missouri by Robert Bletchman and Bruce Widaman. This time around there has been greater coverage with relatively straight articles in all major Colorado papers and numerous television segments.

On May 30 Peckman held a press conference in Denver to discuss the Ballot Iniative and other matters. Those other matters included showing one of the Stan Romanek contact videos of an alleged alien looking through a window of Romanek's house. This was announced in advance and the media attention was nothing short of extraordinary. Peckman received calls from virtually every news talk show on network television. Whatever the media assessment of the Romanek video, the Ballot Initiative has now received broad attention which may insure the needed 4000 signatures are obtained. Also, the Romanek case can expect much more attention.

As it happens all of this and the Denver ballot signature process will overlap with the Democratic Party Convention in August in Denver. A coincidence perhaps, but PRG applauds the strategy.

The extradition hearing in the House of Lords for UK computer , Gary McKinnon, has been set for June 16. McKinnon is accused of into US government computers. He claims he was searching for information on government actions as regards UFO phenomena. McKinnon faces substantially greater punishment should he be extradited. If he loses his appeal in the House of Lords, another appeal could follow in the UK or possibly the European Court of Human Rights.

In either case there is a possibility that McKinnon could be brought to the United States for trial sometime between the party conventions and the November election, which could have exopolitical implications.

What it does say is the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Society re-created the video on their own to see if they could do it, and it cost them $90. Just because they were cheap @#$@# doesn't prove anything one way or the other. I haven't seen either video so I can't determine what they are trying to re-create or how successful they were.

The eyes of the world were on Denver today for the showing of a video that purports to show a space alien. Live transmissions and recordings of the video were not allowed. The Rocky's Bill Scanlon blogged live.

3:45 p.m.Several dozen people were in attendance today at the Tivoli on the Aurara campus in Denver. What did they see?

A classic E.T.-like creature, about 4 feet tall, with a narrow chin, a broad forehead and almond eyes.

Some people claimed to see its eyes and muscles move during the roughly two-minute video, which was briefly screened for reporters and the public at the Auraria campus today.

A skeptic said the being has a suspicious similarity to "Grey," the creature depicted in the classic 1957 movie "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers."

2:13 p.m. A Denver man Thursday night spent five hours and $90 creating a hoax video of a space-alien-looking creature peering through a window (click here to watch).

It looks eerily like the space alien video shown to the media today by a man who wants the city of Denver to create an extraterrestrial commission to welcome visitors from distant galaxies.

Believers in the Nebraska space alien video said the creature moved its eyes and muscles — and you can't just fake that unless you're a Hollywood special-effects expert and have thousands of dollars, they say.

Yes you can, said Bryan Bonner, a member of the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society, which normally investigates claims of haunted houses.

Bonner says his group normally ignores the claims of UFO buffs, but when he realized that Jeff Peckman was asking for taxpayer dollars to form a commission, he figured he should do something.

"When we heard Peckman was going to show the video to the media, I said, 'I'll bet it's the Romanek video,'" he said, referring to the video that Colorado Springs resident Stan Romanek said he made on the night on July 17, 2003, at his home in Nebraska.

Thursday, Peckman announced that indeed it was the Romanek video.

So, Bonner got together five members of the society Thursday night.

"We started production about 8 p.m.," he said.

"We rented ourselves a 4-foot-tall foam latex alien" from a costume shop, said Bonner, who saw the Romanek video six months ago. "We were going to buy one, but I didn't want to blow the $230."

"They started rolling the video and moving the puppet up, down, around and sideways.

They sent the video from the camera straight into a computer, and one of the computer geeks used 3-D animation graphics to make the puppet's eyes seem to move, he said. "We gave him a couple little blinks."

The result was a ghost-like creature that looks slightly more animated than the one in Romanek's video.

"What they're claiming would take thousands of dollars and a lot of time ... we pulled the whole thing off for $90 and in five or six hours," he said.

Bonner said, "It's so amazing that anyone would believe that video is a real space alien. And it's so frustrating to see that they want to use city time and tax dollars on this."

12:33 p.m. Shannon Mundell, of Arvada, said she wanted to see the video because she's known people who have had contact with aliens and "when you look in their eyes you know that what they saw was real."

She said that other countries are more accepting of ET's, but that "in America, we just want to deny it."

Mundell said the video of the creature in the window "was very interesting."

"I can't say exactly what it was, but I think there's a good chance it was real.

"I saw the muscles moving and the eyes moving."

She said it was unlikely it was just a puppet because "only in Hollywood can they make such realistic-looking puppets and they cost thousands of dollars.

"It's very unlikely that Stan would have done something like that."

She said the video needs to be investigated further.

Mundell thinks that if there are aliens among us, and they are peaceful, "It would be wonderful for them to interact with our world and teach us their technologies."

She is worried, though, that if there's conclusive proof of aliens it would cause a lot of emotional suffering from people whose religious beliefs aren't compatible with intelligent life from another galaxy.

12:24 p.m. Jeff Peckman, the man trying to form an extraterrestrial commission in Denver, told the audience it's time to take extraterrestrial life seriously.

"It's time to get ahead of the curve," he said, adding that some high government officials in other countries and some retired military officers in the U.S. are among the believers.

He said even some Vatican officials say it's not incompatible for Roman Catholics to believe in extraterrestrials.

"They're our brothers -- God's creatures," Peckman said.

12:04 p.m. The presentation lasted about an hour and the video itself was a few minutes long.

Randy Bancroft and fellow skeptic Bela Scheiber found it interesting that the creature was never seen from below the neck.

"It looks like the quintessential Grey, right out of E.T.," Scheiber said.

Bancroft added, "Like with Alfred Hitchcock, it was what he didn't show you that was the key."

Audience members wanted to know why the creature traveled all those light years just to peep in a window.

"I have no idea," said Alejandro Rojas, a moderator from the Mutual UFO Network International, who said more investigation of this film needs to be done.

Other audience members asked why the government seems to be keeping evidence of UFOs secret.

Rojas, the education coordinator for the Mutual UFO Network, said perhaps the government feels the public isn't ready to see the truth.

The presenters of the video said it's been reviewed by experts who say there are no post-production add-ons, but Scheiber says that misses the point. The key is to find out whether the original video was a hoax. He noted many hoaxes in the past were perpetrated by teenagers and found it interesting that the Nebraska man -- Stan Romanek, now of Colorado Springs -- had two teenage daughters.

11:59 a.m. The film showed a window, reportedly 8 feet off the ground in a rural Nebraska town in 2003.

It was shot by the homeowner, who had earlier reported seeing UFOs hovering above his house.

This time, he said he set up a camera because he feared a peeping tom was spying on his two teenage daughters.

In the enhanced version of the video, a creature pops up in the window, looks around, and pops back down, again and again.

To skeptic Randy Bancroft, the creature looks a lot like the seminal "Grey," the creature in the 1957 movie "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers," which has a narrow chin, a broad forehead and almond eyes, not too different from the friendly alien in "E.T."

11:45 a.m. The drama must be intense down at Auraria. Hold the phone, because we should hear from our fearless correspondent shortly. Peckman was expected to keep a tight rein on the video and other live transmissions from the scene. No cause for alarm, we think.

11 a.m. Joanne Almeida, of Englewood, is at the film screening because, "I've seen things in my life.

"I feel a lot of people are arrogant" in their dismissal of UFOs and the paranormal, she said.

"Instead of being open-minded, they make jokes."

"They're arrogant to think this is silly and a waste of time when there are so many other things that are silly and a waste of time."

Almeida said she thinks a lot of this is tied in with oil.

"People in the high circle of politics are very greedy," she said.

"I believe there are a lot of alternative fuels that the politicians are hiding. Maybe that's the kind of thing they're trying to tell us."

Bela Scheiber, a member of the Rocky Mountain Skeptics, said "photoshop has come a long way."

He said it's no great trick to project an image on a video, given that two s in England fooled the world about fairies 90 years ago.

He noted that a man who faked a photo of the Lochness monster confessed to it on his bed and that more than one person has admitted to faking signs of Big Foot.

Scheiber predicted that Jeff Peckman will show an ambiguous video and then "cherry pick the things that he wants to show the audience.

"And of course we'll cherry pick the things that we want to show the audience."

10:30 a.m. Claude Swanson, a physicist from Virginia, was the first to show up at the news conference in the Tivoli on the Auraria campus.

He said he'll talk for a few minutes about "how time travel is theoretically possible."

"There have been some faster-than-light propagations in the labs," he maintained. "There are lots of reasons to be open-minded about these things."

He said he's been familiar with the Colorado Springs video for years.

"The first year I was pretty cautious," he said. "I gradually became persuaded there was something real going on here."

A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.

Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.

"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."

When Peckman went before city officials this month to discuss his proposed ET initiative, he promised to show the video.

Peckman said the general public will have to wait to see it because it's being included in a documentary by Stan Romanek.

"No one will be allowed to film the segment with the extraterrestrial because there is an agreement in place limiting that kind of exposure during negotiations for the documentary," he said.

But people won't have to wait too long to see it for themselves.

"There is an open, public meeting in about a month in Colorado Springs," Peckman said. "We'll hope to do one in Denver at some point, and then in a few months, there will be the documentary that anybody can have, and it'll have the footage."

An instructor at the Colorado Film School in Denver scrutinized the video "very carefully" and determined it was authentic, Peckman said.

Peckman, 54, said the video was among the reasons he was "compelled" to launch the proposed ballot initiative, which has generated news as far as South Africa.

"It shows an extraterrestrial's head popping up outside of a window at night, looking in the window, that's visible through an infrared camera," he said. The alien is about 4 feet tall and can be seen blinking, Peckman said earlier this month.

In a statement, Peckman said "other related credible evidence" proving aliens exist will be shown at Friday's news conference, too.

In 2003, Peckman authored an off-beat ballot initiative that would have required the city to implement stress-reduction techniques. The "Safety Through Peace" initiative failed, but garnered 32 percent of the vote.

Compline Choir at St David's Episcopal

With all this talk about ETs and government stuff, I wanted to share with you a new thing I'm doing musically.

Led by David Stevens, he St. David's Compline Choir has been conducting worship for several years each Sunday evening at St. David's Episcopal Church in downtown Austin. They perform sacred A capella music from the 14th-17th centuries, as well as liturgical chant.

For the past few months I have been accompanying my landlord to the services as she does not like to go downtown alone after dark. In attendance, I found myself trying to sing along, which is not very appropriate in such a high church setting.

An audition was arranged, and somehow I joined the high quality of singers that make up the group. May 11th was my first performance with the group. The groups are typically small-the May 11th attendance was only 5 strong plus a conductor, and I was the only bass.

How did I do?

Webre: Recent Catholic ET Disclosure Significant On Fatima Day

Alfred Webre continues to host his ever popular Exopolitics Radio show and continues to make significant connections in regards to the developing maneuvering surrounding exopolitical issues-those issues relating to man and ET beings.

It may be remembered that the O'Hare UFO sighting on Nov 7, 2006 was widely reported on major news networks when it occurred. What was not reported was but pointed out by Webre that the sighting occurred on the same day that the Republicans lost control of the government during the Representative Elections. Also pointed out by Webre that may be of significance is that both presidential candidates Obama and Clinton are also from Chicago as well.

On tonight's installment of Exopolitics Radio, Webre pointed out the importance of this week's Vatican disclosure regarding ETs and faith on Fatima Day.

For non-Catholics we may refer to Wikipedia's brief description of what happened 91 years ago:

Our Lady of Fátima (pronounced [ˈfatimɐ]) is the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary by those who believe that she appeared to three shepherd children at Fátima, Portugal on the 13th day of six consecutive months in 1917, starting on 13 May, the Fátima holiday. The three children were Lúcia dos Santos and siblings Francisco and Jacinta Marto. The title of Our Lady of the Rosary is also sometimes used in reference to the same apparition (although it was first used in 1208 for the reported apparition in the church of Prouille); because the children related that the Lady in the apparition specifically identified Herself as "the Lady of the Rosary."

The underlying truth around what actually happened on Fatima Day is this-it was an extra-terrestial visitation. Joaquim Fernandes & Fina D’ Armada are researchers that have heavily studied this issue and their two books and another to be released soon make up the Fatima Trilogy.

Webre states that the Vatican disclosing this information on Fatima day is significant, quietly acknowledging that they did know then and do know now that the Fatima event was an ET visitation.

The Vatican, particularly within the ranks of the Jesuit Secret Service has long been rumored by many to be a participant in the ET coverup. It may be with this step that at least their position regarding the ET issue may be changing directions.

It has been a very busy week for the disclosure process. It will be interesting in the coming weeks to see what else may transpire.

This is kind of interesting.

I went out to CNN's website today. Apparently, if they have a tshirt symbol next to a news article, you can get a tshirt with that article.

Maybe it's that same worn humor that news agencies always try to pass off when giving such news. It seems they act on queue with every report. As far as that goes, it is still disappointing to see that attitude persisting.

On the other hand-that's a pretty powerful headline.

People who insist that governments have been hiding information on UFOs have been made fun of for years, written off as some kind of 'conspiracy theorist'.

But now we have a government that is telling the world that it is true, they did keep information secret regarding UFOs.

The more and more information that comes out about UFOs, the less and less funny attempts to minimize this important subject will become. As people start to get over the silliness factor of this subject and begin to consider the fact that we are not alone, then that is going to start to become a more sobering thought.

And this attempt feels that way to me. This shirt doesn't seem to be playing along with the gag, this shirt is trying to tell us something.

Maybe I'll go get one....

Britain Releases UFO Files

Green aliens, UFOs said to visit UK: secret files
LONDON (Reuters) - Aliens from outer space have been visiting Britain for years and UFO sightings doubled after the film Close Encounters was released in 1977, according to secret files collating reports by members of the public.

The alien craft come in all shapes, sizes and colors but their occupants are uniformly green, the Ministry of Defence files show.

The archives (at www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ufos) are the first batch of a four-year release programme of all the ministry's UFO files from 1978 to the present day.

The ministry dismisses 90 percent of the reports as having mundane explanations and leave 10 percent with a question mark and the assurance they are no defence threat.

A 1983 report from a 78-year-old out fishing at midnight tells of following aliens in green overalls on to a spaceship and then being told to go away because he was too old and decrepit for their purposes.

Two years later, a typewritten letter to the ministry tells of an alien spaceship being shot down in the river Mersey in northern England by another spacecraft and of the author developing a warm friendship with an alien called Algar.

Just as Algar was about to reveal himself to the government he was killed by other aliens, the author of the letter writes. He was still in telepathic contact with an alien called Malcben from the planet Platone in the Milky Way, the author added.

Written at the top of the letter is the terse comment "No reply."

The ministry has files on 11,000 sightings dating back to the 1950s. A few of the sightings made it into the national press and all were checked out in case they were Soviet aircraft probing Britain's defenses during the Cold War.

"Clearly some reports remain unexplained but we have found no evidence that these phenomena represent a threat to national security and therefore cannot justify devoting Defence resources to their investigation," said an official letter in 1985.

WORKING PARTY

The term Unidentified Flying Object was coined in a U.S. Air Force report three years after the description 'flying saucer' was applied to a sighting in Washington State in June 1947.

In Britain, so worrying was the spate of reports that a secret Flying Saucer Working Party was formed to check them out.

Like the U.S. Air Force, it concluded flying saucers did not exist. But its final report in 1951 was still classified "secret/discreet" and given very limited circulation.

Not all sightings can be easily dismissed as the working of overwrought or intoxicated minds, or triggered by watching Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Royal Air Force personnel, civil aviation pilots and air traffic controllers have also reported sightings and radar tracks that remain unexplained despite high-level investigation.

Among the most famous was the sighting on two occasions of unexplained bright lights landing near a U.S. airbase in Rendlesham Forest in southern England. Even the deputy commander of the base put his name to that 1980 report.

Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens

VATICAN CITY (AP) - The Vatican's chief astronomer says that believing in aliens does not contradict faith in God.

The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, says that the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.

In an interview published Tuesday by Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes says that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures.

The interview was headlined "The extraterrestrial is my brother." Funes said that ruling out the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits" on God's creative freedom.

Stephen Bassett: Update on Google Blocking Effort

Shortly after a well known journalist contact of PRG's contacted the Google press office for the second time the Open Letter to Hillary Clinton located at: www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/Open_Letter_Clinton-Hillary.htm reemerged on the Google search listings.

It was at the top of the search listing on May 1 for [Open Letter to Senator Hillary Clinton] when it along with other sites were stripped from the listings.

As of today it can only be reached by using very restrictive search criteria. What that means is that the hit counter for the page was zeroed out when the block was taken off.

There are several ways Google can block a page. One is to simply block the specific address for a page. That's 100% effective. Another is to zero out the hit count for that page so it plunges downward in the listings essentially out of sight. Google can also block the page from appearing under some search terms and not others.

PRG requests that you please visit the source page often over the next few days to drive the hit count for the page up and thereby drive the page higher and higher up the search returns under all search criteria. This will help to keep Google honest.

That said, this breach of censorship has been fully documented and PRG has no intention of dropping the matter with Google.

PRG very much suspects that this entire episode was to limit any damage to the Clinton campagin going into last Tuesday's election. Which is to say that another reason all the pages in question have reemerged onto the Goolge listings is the North Carolina and Indiana primaries are over. If true, this act of censorship by Google would be even more egregious.

Each day's news underscores how disastrous the occupation is. April was the liest month for U.S. soldiers since last September. One in five Iraq and Afghanistan veterans - roughly 300,000 - report symptoms of PTSD or major depression. The V.A. covered up the fact that 12,000 veterans attempt each year while under V.A. treatment. As Cindy Sheehan asked, "for what noble cause" are our sons and daughters suffering and dying?

To make matters worse, Bush continues to use our occupation of Iraq as a reason to wage a covert war against Iran that could quickly turn to a wider and even more disastrous war. We know the Iraq War "marketing" was timed for the 2002 election - if John McCain is behind in the polls, will Bush " Iran " as an " October Surprise " to keep Republicans in power?

On top of it all, as our economy tanks, we simply cannot afford to waste $163 billion more of our tax dollars for Iraq on top of the $562 billion we've already wasted and the $3 trillion overall cost, included tripling the price of gasoline .

It's urgent for everyone to call your Representative today with a simple message: Not One More Penny for Iraq .

This battle is not impossible. On January 16, 42 progressive Democrats voted against the last $70 billion blank check. Most Republicans oppose Pelosi's bill because it includes some domestic spending, so a large bloc of progressive Democrats can defeat it.
